Relevance? I thought I heard something about someone dissapearing, rings, and my head! Such a mess! I'm not sure if I'm typing in Mannish or Sindarin right now!

Yeah, I'm still Asst. Webmaster, but I've created a new account, simply to make it easier on myself. But now I'm going under the persona of Tom Bombadil, but you can still call me Mike :coolyello

Here are the rings:

Elvish Rings
- Nenya ~ also known as Ring of Water/Adamand, used by Galadriel in Lorien.
- Narya ~ also known as the Red Ring/Ring of Fire, given to Gandalf by Cirdan the Shipwright.
- Vilya ~ also known as the Ring of Sapphire/Ring of Air, given to Elrond by Gilgalad upon the founding of Rivendell.

Dwarvish Rings
The "names" of each Dwarvish ring are not know, but we know Sauron recovered three - although the rest had been devoured by dragons.

Men/Nine Rings
The names (as with the Dwarvish rings) are not known, but we know they are worn by each of the Nazgul (ring wraiths)

I get the rest of the names, but what does Adamand supposed to mean?

isnt adamand a type of stone..... in biblical references it is known to be harder than a diamond.... if im not mistaken
