| Feel free to post any suggestions, including books that have been suggested before but not chosen. Any book, sci fi, fantasy, alternative history...basically anything that can remotely be placed in these genres are fair game. Give us some good ones to chew over... |

| Re: June's Book Suggestions I've a couple so far: Richard Matheson-I Am Legend (manageable length, too )Valerio Massimo Manfredi-Spartan John Courtney Grimwood-RedRobe (Does anyone know if there's an English edition of Greg Keyes' 'The Briar King' yet? If so-I nominate that too) |

| Re: June's Book Suggestions I second the Matheson book - not least because it has elements of horror, something we haven't discussed yet. Tarzan of the Apes would be cool too, or how about A Princess of Mars? I'd be interested to see how people take to Burroughs. |

| Re: June's Book Suggestions Hello... I'm new here, but if my opinion counts, Tarzan of the Apes sounds very good! I read those a long time ago, it would be fun to see them again... but the Princess of Mars was also rather interesting. |

| Re: June's Book Suggestions Quote:
My suggestion is Battlefield Earth by L. Ron Hubbard just because it is a fun space opera - very different from last month's book and most of the suggestions for this month are fantasyesque The suggestions so far are: I Am Legend, Richard Matheson (Dead Riverdragon, I chose the first of your suggestions to keep the number of titles down for the vote, please keep your other suggestions handy for next month) Tarzan of The Apes, Edgar Rice Burroughs The Woodwife, Teri Windling Battlefield Earth, L. Ron Hubbard once Sage Orion specifies which Forgotten Realms title, we will then have five titles to vote from, and I'll post the poll. | |
