"Fellowship of the Ring" is great!

I got to see the movie yesterday! It was really great! I think this is one of the best adaptions of a book to film if not the best that I have ever seen.

You can tell where they have changed things due to time constraints. However they do it very well.

The only problem is the next part won't be out until next year.

The actors where wonderful and did a great job. Also very good special effects.

Yes there is no Tom Bombadil. Which I admit was a disappointment. However with time constraints I don't think they could have fit his character in.

It seems that they filmed a lot more scenes than are actually in the movie. They had to cut some of them for time. Possibly including the one with Bombadill.

The hope of a lot of people is they will put those pieces back in when the movie is released on DVD.
