IMHO?

Well they both have bits in that i like but bits i dont like. The book has lots of slo bits were all they do is talk, but the film goes a bit too quickly. even for 3 hours long!

IMHO = In My Humble Opinion

The book needs more thought and imagination...thats why i love it.... After three hours u walk out thinking WOW... but with a book its goes on a lot longer

The book is good, but it's a bit sortof...olde with all the speech and stuff. Hey, what am i saying?! the book is the best book i've ever read, and that is why the film was so blimmin' brilliant!

<hangs head in shame> Whip me now. I haven't read the whole trilogy yet :'(

I read The Hobbit and Lord of the Rings in 9th grade. Had to, for stupid book report. I liked them both, but because the last 2 books in the trilogy weren't acceptable to read for the last 2 reports, I never got around to read them.

I guess I have a year to get to them now, huh?
