Title: Memories Part 1
Author: Spike’s Mine

Darkness, absolute darkness. There was the sound of footsteps. They were getting closer. Louder. Someone running. Panting. Screaming in fear of what was coming. A girl emerged from an alley behined a shop. A mere child. She would only be 14 at the oldest. She was wounded. Blood dripping from her face, and her long brown hair traipsed over one shoulder was covered with what could only be blood. Her clother were torn. Her hands were all cut. There was something else on them. A gold shimmer reflected off her hands in the light. It looked magical……

There was a crash from the alley that she has just run from. Boxes were falling, tumbling onto each other, the noise getting louder, when all of a sudden there was silence. A man stood in the shaddows. He was not alone. 4 men came from the darkness. Each more evil than the last. They were demons, you could tell by the way their faces were formed, they were vampires. They were all dressed in black. No colours. Just black, like the nights sky. The man was obviously their leader. He was also wearing dark colours, but he was the only one out of the group who was not in his “vampire” face. He looked at the girl menicingly. He wanted her, or something that she had. They exchanged glances for a few seconds, she knew what he wanted. The girl turned and ran onto the open streets cluching her side while hobbling as fast as her legs could carry her. The man still stood there. Watching.
“Get her” he said in a cold, deep voice. The vampires grabbed hold of the girl, and knocked her uncontious.
“We need her if ther plan is to succeed”

* * * * * * *

“Dawn! Dawn get down here now!!” There was a loud commotion coming from within the Summers house.
“Dawn how many times have I told you not to borrow my clothes without asking!” Buffy was holding a white sweater in her hand, with a huge yellow stain down the front.
“I, I, I'm sorry Buffy. I just needed that top so badly. See, yesterday Jamey said to me…” Dawn decided to stop after realising that her sister was not interested in her story for getting mustard down her favourite top. There was a quite laugh coming from the living room. It was Spike. He found the whole argument about a top with mustard down it amusing; Buffy obviously didn’t as she signalled for him to be quite.

The two sisters carried on arguing for hours and hours it seemed. After trying to end it all and failing miserably Spike decided to leave. He was no longer of any use there since Buffy had come back from patrolling. He gave Buffy a good night kiss and he was off! It was well past midnight. Spike wondered the streets for a while until deciding to go back to his crypt and have an early nights sleep. He didn’t like going back on his as it seemed so lonely and empty for him without Buffy, but she had to look after her Dawn, and he knew how important that was.

Spike reached his crypt in the quite corner of Sunnydale cemetery. As soon as he got in, he realised that something was not right. Someone had been there, or still was.
“Who’s there” he called out in his typical English accent. There was a little hustle coming from the corner. It was a red Calmak demon. He was short and very bumpy in the forehead region. Calmak demons are the gossips in the demon world, and with Spike being a vampire, this was nothing out of the ordinary. However, the Calmak demon seemed frightened and worried about something.
“They have returned Spike, it is time”
“Who has returned? Time for what?” Spike was confused. What did this have to do with him?
“Talkar” the demon replied
Spike was lost for words; he just stood there. Everything had become so clear!

Coool! I love it. smal digust on the buffy spike kiss but all in all it has much potential. I want to see more... much more... more fic please this is good stuff you know.

Hey! I wasn't planning on it being this long! It was sposed to end on halloween but I keep coming up with new ideas and well that's just getting in the way of the end.

Title: Memories Part 2

In the magic box shop Anya had closed up early for a Scooby gang get together. They were all waiting for Spike, he was supposed to be meeting them at 4:00; it was now quarter to five. Buffy was angry, she said that she was going to get him and that she would be back shortly. She informed them that they should start without them.

As she arrived at the crypt she blasted the door open in her usual manner expecting to see Spike asleep on the coffin, but he wasn’t. There were loads of empty bottles of alcohol just lying around on the floor. Spike wasn’t usually the one to drink him silly. The last time he had, was when Drusilla had left him and he was just so upset. Buffy started to worry a bit now. This wasn’t like Spike at all. She noticed that the hatch to the underground section in spike’s crypt was ajar. She climbed down the ladder to find Spike. He was just sitting in a chair. He barely moved. Buffy noticed that he was clutching a note, she took it off him and read it aloud;

Spike,
I've got good news. I moved in today with a couple of demons, they said that they would protect me and stuff. You know, if they decide to come back. They are Samt demons. So there’s no need to worry about me,
I hope to be seeing you soon. Halloween wouldn’t be the same without you! Do you remember 3 years ago? Dru was so scarred, remember? I still laugh every time I think about it! She still has a little grudge against me. Hehe.
Spike, you mean so much to me and I really don’t want you to worry about me, im all right, really!

Buffy was confused; she didn’t understand why a simple letter could have upset Spike so much. The calmak demon stepped out from behind the shadows.
“They have her!” He informed Buffy
“Have who? This girl, Carla? Is she important? Tell me!” Buffy pleaded
“They have her, and they’re going to kill her along with the rest of the world! She has a secret, Spike knows it and so does she. Talkar will find it and destroy us all. And there is nothing either one of you can do, slayer!”
Buffy just stood there, shocked! If she couldn’t do anything, then who could??

At the magic shop the scoobies were starting to worry about Buffy, she had been gone over two hours and there was still a lot of research to be done!
“Where is she?” Anya was growing more and more impatient. “Why is she taking so long? She said she would be quick!”
“An, Buffy probably ran into a little trouble, she’ll be here soon.” Xander was trying to calm everything down before a fight broke out, but it wasn’t working. It was Willows turn to try and calm Anya down,
“Well, um, Buffy is really busy and, and she has a lot on her mind with Dawn and Spike and stuff, she’s probably doing something really important right now….”
“Yeah” Tara pitched in.
“Like what, sleeping with Spike?”
They couldn’t believe what had just come out of Anya’s mouth! The thought horrified them all, well, except Anya!

A door opened. It was Buffy. She seemed confused and angry all at once!
“Willow, I want you to look up on any spells that need to take place on the 25th” she ordered “Tara, you help her”
“Ok” they both replied
“Xander, call up Giles, see if he knows anything about a demon called Tolka, Talkey, Takor, something like that”
“On it”
“Anya, do something, useful” Anya seemed slightly offended of not being given an important job to do. Buffy started to pace around the shop.
“Um Buff, where’s Spike? Maybe he could help?” Xander now wondered if that was a good thing to ask.
“Probably still asleep after the whole sex with Buffy!” Anya jumped in before Buffy had time to answer. They all fell silent.
“Something more helpful, on it” Anya realised that wasn’t the best thing to have said. Buffy shook her head and carried on ignoring Anya’s last remark!
“We have to find it, Something is going to happen, and we need to stop it, before its too late!”
