Episode II trailer... So, what did you think?

The trailer is now showing before 'Harry Potter and the Philosophers Stone' (Sorcerer's stone in US).

I saw it, but it was difficult to take it all in with the noise from the thousands of children, and the kid in front refusing to sit still. I would have tied him up if I had taken some rope.

The Title

'Attack of the Clones' is still there in big bold letters, so not much chance of that changing.

The Plot

Looks like a kind of love story (Anakin and Amidala), so hopefully at least it will be a more adult story.

Amidala doesn't look much older than epiosde I, but Anakin has certainly grown up a bit.

Lots of space battles by the looks of it -- they looked impressive too.

Anakin said something like he was sick of Obi-Wan holding him back and that one day he would be the greatest Jedi who ever lived. Sorry, I didn't catch it all because of the rattle of the sweet packets and sucking of Coke-Cola.

With any luck it might be shown before 'Lord of the Rings' too.

I enjoyed all 3 of the trailers (the 2 in the theatres and the one on the DVD). I love the Breathing one best because it is a real "tease" and it really had me on the edge of my seat and gave me goosebumps. The one in front of Harry Potter was nice, but too much of the romance story and dialoge was shown for my liking. The one on the DVD is very exciting, lots of action....also had me on the edge of my seat. I can't wait until May!

Poor Dave! :lol::laugh2:

I saw the trailer before HP and thought it looked great. It looks more promising than PM and I hope it is. I didn't like PM because I thought it came across as one big video game.

What worked for me about the first movies, the first two in particular, was that they were so strong in plot, character development and were so strongly story driven. The action was part of the story not the whole story or in place of the story.

PM just seemed non-sensical to me, a story was woven to try to tie all the action scenes together.

The new ones are supposed to show us how Anakin becomes Darth, so they need to focus on relationships and character development. I look forward to the relationship between Amidala and Anakin as well as Anakin and Obi Wan and Palpatine.

Oh, I hope this next one is of the caliber of A New Hope and Empire. I loved Empire and it had a big focus on Han and Leia. And some awesome action/special effects scenes. The asteroid field comes to mind.

Wish the title would change though. "Attack of the Clones." Aaarrrggghhh!!!!!!

Yeah i agree with you on the title , Attack of the clones i don't think is a good title but then again i guess we will have to see the movie to really understand what they mean by that , the Phantom menance was a good name for the first starwars film

I've only seen the romantic looking trailor.

Personally Im not really into romance films. Give me action, drama, suspence any day!

Are the other trailers better?

OK I've done this, tell me your better suggestions for a title and I can add them.
