I already had the idea about Amber when reading the Liveship Traders... maybe because I read them straight after the last Farseer book.

Must admit I really had my doubts about the Liveship Traders before I started it. Living ships, how could this be interesting? So I started reading with no expectations, and loved the books! Yes, also the sea serpents, maybe because those chapters were a bit odd. I liked the way Wintrow and Malta were written, and could identify most with Althea. Also, I loved the character of Paragon!
When I read all these post, I realize I must reread them soon!
