It's not explicitly stated, but it's made oh so very clear out of so many things you can read in both the liveship traders and the tawny man trilogy.
For example: when she describes how Amber resculpted Paragon, she actually describes FitzChivalry. And we all know (most of us do) how much the Fool likes our beloved Fitz
