<load game> Jack and his troupe made their way back to the gate and found Lars still standing where they had seen him earlier. "Hey, how's it going?" Lars asked with something of a smile. "Killian said to talk to you about busting Gizmo." "Yeah. Whenever you're ready." "No time like the present." "All right. I'll grab Killian and meet you there." <fade out, then fade in, and BANG! Jack's standing right smack in the middle of Gizmo's office. Gizmo looks a little miffed that the guy who offerred to off Killian is now pointing a gun in *his* direction> "It's over, Killian!" Gizmo fired a shot and missed Killian by a country mile. "Yes, it is, Gizmo. It's over for you!" Killiam raised his .10mm and fired a round, striking Gizmo in the left shoulder. Gizmo's guard, Jack, Ian, and Dogmeat all had turns to fire or attack, then Lars and another guard took a few shots. Another shot from Gizmo landed in Killiian's leg, then Gizmo's guard was killed, and one final shot from Jack, hit Gizmo right between the eyes, and the fat slob fell over in his chicken salad. <fade out, then fade in, and Jack is back at the guard house talking to Lars> "Hey, thanks for all your help back there, Jack O'Neill, here's your reward." Lars hands Jack $500.00. "Thanks. Any time you need a hand, just let me know." Jack took the money, okay, it's not really money, it's actually bottle caps, b/c there is no money in post-apocalyptic Southern California, but there do seem to be an abundance of bottle caps - for whatever reason - so they are used as money. He and Ian, followed by Dogmeat, turn and walk back through the town, chatting with the townspeople and poking around to see what there is to do. "Jack, whaddya say we grab a drink? There's a bar back behind Gizmo's old place," Ian suggested. "Ya know, that's a good idea. I need to stop by and see what Gizmo left behind anyway." Jack headed off toward Gizmo's place. The fat old man had a Mauser and some ammo, some money (can always use that) and some other odds and ends. Jack then rummaged the bookshelf. He held out a worn-looking box, colored black and orange. "Ian, what the hell is this supposed to be?" Ian shrugged. "Ya got me, man. See if the dog will eat it." Dogmeat snarled. "I don't think he's interested." Jack tossed the box aside and picked the lock to Gizmo's quarters. Rummaging the bookcase, he found a bag w/ $100.00 and a couple books and stimpaks. All-in-all, a pretty good find. "Okay - let's go get a drink." Jack, Ian, and Dogmeat all exited the now deserted casino and headed for the Skum Pit. <save game>

Sweeeeeeeeeeeeet. Tell me, how are the players positioned while fighting? Are they on one side of the screen, and the baddies on the other? Or maybe they are half-circled around the baddies? Morrigan PS- I still don't know who it is. It sound like Jack? That why you put HIM in the game? That would explain why he seems so familiar.

Macgyver? ![]() Erm, RDA? Come on, you have to throw us a 3 foot bone here! We don't know why you bought the game! One more reason for me to get it.. just so I can find out who you are talking about. Is it Colin Cunningham?

Morrigan got it ---- RDA is the voice for Killian Darkwater in the game Fallout --- it's why i bought the game - it's how i even found out about it -- and it's kinda what inspired this story -- (i know, i haven't written on it in a few days --- inspiration must return first) -- oh - for anyone interested -- Michael T. Weiss voices the 'player's' character for the game "Torment" -- fun RPG - hard tho --- anyway --- i'll try to work on this more ---- oh - and i love American Gothic and Midnight Caller --- but, alas, all the good shows, esp those w/ potential, get cancelled - b/c they get preempted for basketball -----

| This is a lot of fun, H2. Can't wait for more. I'm really gonna have to get that game. Sounds like it'd beat the hell outta Sims. Quote:

<picks up the gauntlet H2 threw down> Why aren't you writing? Are you training at Ausgate? I don't know WHY, it's not like you are going to get past where you are now. I say you do us all a favor, and start writing this bad boy again. And give me all your Naq. But mostly, just keep writing. Morrigan
