what do you like about it?

Ok this thread seems to have stalled a little.......so i thought i'd find out what everyone else like/loves about the show.

it can be anything you like.....just let say something!

the whole concept that there are timelords... ok the storys weer pretty bad at times... but i would love to see a new series... year 2000 onwards outlook

when you look at the stories are realise just how little money they were made on you have to realise that the they are actually really well done

it wouldn't have been the same if they had had a big budget to make the show with.....the smaller budget i think helped the show to keep true to itself

I would tend to agree.

Programmes like Star Trek have lost much of their character as a result of the big budgets and special effects. Whilst Doctor Who has always relied on inventiveness to get over the non-existence of cash.

Yet I would say there is more to it than that. Generally the Doctor and his companions have always been more 'believable', probably for the same reasons.

Good Stories, unusual stories when they were made, the sixties Pertwee ones were very non-conformist. Good aliens, who have been copied, but rarely bettered :-- Cybermen ~ Borg
