New to SG1 - Some questions - - Science Fiction Fantasy Chronicles: forums

Hey all

I have only just started watching SG1 on Sky One and I love it!

But I have missed loads of episodes (and seasons!) and I was wondering if there was anywhere I could download some of the episodes? I have treid http://www.sg1archive.net/ & http://www.sg1archive.com/ and I have not been able to get onto the site.

And I have one final question (don't luagh now

) but I have been wondering how long SG1 has been going for, in years, I know it has been for 5 seasons - but not how many years;I hope it continues for along to come!

and on that note - for anyone who watches it one Sky One - I would would also like to know where we are - are they repeats being shown? and when does Channel 4 broadcast the episodes?

Any help and advice would be greatly apprecaited! Thanks!

Hi Wingless Flier!

Season 5 is year 5 in the USA. It has been on five years and next year will be on for the Sixth year which will be its last. The producers want to do SG-1 movies after that.. and their should be a spinoff.... tentatively with Atlantis somewhere in the title. I watch on the American Continent so our dates and times are different than yours... but some of the British members will be along soon and can give you more information... Also you can check out Darren's site for more information....Will get the addy for you!

Hey Wingless Flyer,

Im in the UK..right on the south coast :rolly2:

At the moment Sky One are showing season Five on Wednesdays...which should be the one you are watching and we are on about our 9th episode..
On weekdays Sky One are also showing SG1 at 6pm and Im not sure but I think they maybe onto season two by now....

Channel 4 are showing season three at the moment and we are about 6ish weeks into it....and that is on Sundays around 5pm...

Hope some of this has helped you...you can also chat about season five in the Europe Forum of this board (so its up to date for us in the UK) and that forum is right down the bottom of the main page

Any problems just give me a PM and I would be willing to try and answer any more of your questions......

Yeah I know what you mean

Im still trying to catch up with season 4...and trying to buy them as they come out...but its slow....but Im getting there!!!

I'm also from the Uk, North East coast, and I also have sky one.

Like Pamie wrote, you should pop over to the European forum too. Every one at ascifi is really friends, nutty, and more that willing to help you out with any questions you have!
