I have noticed that there is a distinct lack of helpers on these days.I would like to know what is the criteria for becoming a helper as I would like to become one.

Sumoner, you're an aussie, aren't you? Me too and I'm usually on during the day.

If you have a problem and someone isn't on, just send a comms anyway. I don't know about the other yellow people but I get lots of comms when I'm on.

If you want to go yellow, best to ask to Wolfpac or Ausgate as they're the ones with the power :coolorang :coolorang :coolorang

being an aussie does seem to be a problem......

i've also noticed the lack of yellows online when i am....but i've found that most people are willing to chat and help where they can........

as for addictions go.........i admit........i have it bad

i have noticed that the yellows tend to come on really late at night (aussie time) or early morning is also a good time :P

well- i'm EST -- and on most of the time btwn 0900 and 1700 (tho i have to take breaks to actually do some of my real work!) so - if anyone has questions -- i'm available -- tho i may not be able to answer *everything* - i'll give it my best shot -----

I don't get enough comms, and when I do, it is from the *loser.* After them, I go to his house, kick his butt, and go back to training.

If you need help, comms almost anyone at the begining of the list. We've been on the longest, so we know most of the tricks of the site. If we don't know, well, then you know it is time to ask a yellow. If they don't know, ask Allan or Wolfpak. If they don't know, you probably aren't playing on Ausgate

Then it's time to check to make sure you are even online. Oh, better make sure the computer isn't really a microwave while you're at it.

Okay, enough yaking. I have a thing to write. Looks like it won't be posted at this rate. It'll probably be d/led to the shared files section.

Many of us spend a lot of time helping others learn the game. After being asked similar questions a few dozen times I began saving my responses in Notepad. The evolved into a file that I ended up copy/pasting and sending to "a lot" of people when they started up.

We help others because most of us are there to have fun. If we can answer a few questions to help someone out it might help them have as much fun as we do.
