It's only been a few days, but I know what you mean...

There were a couple other newbies who posted a few days ago and I haven't heard from them again either. But Jessa may stick around... she's not new to the bb, just this forum.

I'll stick around for ya, Oz. I'm also recruiting others to come here, so you may see some more newbies soon.

Hi,

Well I'm totally new to ASciFi and to this forum, can i ask a couple of questions...

What do the little x-files style faces under our names mean.... and why are some diffrent colours..yellor blue and green i've seen here.....

How do i get the wee pictures that you all have again on the left hand side..... I'm confuesed easily by computer speak ...an step by step would be nice, as they do look cute...hehehe

And some people have we areas of writting under their posts live "my alien's names are blah blah blah" and there is sometimes links like the lord of the rings....what are these and how do you put them in ??

At the top of the page theres a ascifi logo .. under that is a couple of tabs one says control panel .. click that and u should see edit profile . there u can enter stuff .

thanks for the reply, so if i enter a link there it hyperlink does it so that it is just show as the name in my post???

did that make sense....not sure LOL

well when u enter the Edit profile bit in control like i said ,, u will see just below edit profile .. then look at Signature:
enter name like . ie.. my aliens are .. ect .... and links to site enter as [..u..r..l] LINK[/u...r...l] with out the dots .

to make links
