Amanda Tapping in Sydney and New Zealand 2002 - Science Fiction Fantasy Chronicles: forums

Amanda Tapping will be appearing In Australia in November 2002 at the Friends of Science Fiction (FSF) Convention in Sydney, the Multiverse convention in Melbourne and at the Armageddon event in New zealand.
Amanda is confirmed commitments pending and is looking forward to her first trip to Australia and New Zealand. This event tour has been a long time in the planning.
All events are events run by fan clubs, not convention businesses, so they will be a lot of fun and a great opportunity for Amanda to really meet the fans.
The timing of the convention has been organised to coincide with the break between seasons 5 and 6 in Australia and will be just as Amanda has concluded work on the sixth and possibly ??? final season of Stargate SG-1.

also accommodation in Melbourne is a bit difficult that time of year because of the Melbourne Cup

but a trip to Melbourne would be good. I've trying to get back down there for years.

Theres places in melbourne where the accomodation is about $20 a night, which is pretty good, backpacker hotels and that, and theres places where its like 4 to a room, so if enough people are going, we could all stay at the one place...lol
