| Clip from Musical now on-line UPN has posted on its site a downloadable quicktime movie or streaming video clip. The clip is two minutes long, 7 megabytes in size and contains absolutely NO SPOILERS. You can get it here: http://www.buffy.com/musical.html It's very entertaining. Fortunately we only have to wait a couple of weeks to see the whole thing. If I had to wait months, I'm afraid this wouldn't be enough to hold me. But its available if you want it. |

| I don't know, markpud, I had the exact opposite reaction, I liked it from the moment I saw it. Sure the lyrics are trite and some of the voices are weak, but in only two minutes I saw a lot of stuff I like. *****Preview Spoiler***** You have to admit the coy look that SMG gives when she sings to the camera ("and you can sing along...") is pretty strong. I can't wait to see her do it life-size. The lyrics from "Where do we go from here?" are plain but indicative of the spirit of the show - "Understand, we go hand-in-hand, but we walk alone in fear." It's not pyschoanalysis, but its a good way of expressing the contridiction of close relationships - they are allies, companions and trust each other with their lives, but they still feel alone and hold back some part of themselves.. [Extemper1: the thought of Spike singing.... *giggles*] You know we have a thread here in the Spike forum called "Spike - A Billy Idol wannabe???" Well, Spike's style for his solo looks awfully familiar in the preview and in the recording studio shot I saw with James in a dark T-shirt, it would be hard to tell them apart. . . . . . . . . . . . |
