Stargate Conventions in 2002 - Science Fiction Fantasy Chronicles: forums

Hey All,
I know this is a little premature, but I felt like starting a new thread. I got this email today from BOBW, there is some info about next years conventions....

6) Our calendar for next year now is as follows:

a) Feb. 2 & 3 - Stargate SG1 convention, our first confirmed guest is Colin Cunningham,
2 lovely
ladies will soon be confirmed,
b) Apr 6 & 7 - Buffy - Nicholas Brendon is already confirmed and as per above we hope
to be able

to add AHS to our line up,
c) July TBA,
d) Oct. 19 & 20 - Babylon 5 - Bruce Boxleitner & Jerry Doyle already confirmed

Costing for next year will be finalized as soon as a new suitable venue is found, we find
that
having the accommodation , convention, & extras all in the one place is so much easier for
all, so
that is the sort of venue we are looking for. Just in case you were not aware The Gazebo Hotel
is to close in January to be turned into apartments.

Thats rocking, 2 ladies will soon be confirmed, interesting i mean one must be that Hathor woman? and the other umm TR? possibly AT, that would be nice

Buffy convention, rocking too, i figured that would slot AHS into it since he bailed from the convention in November this year, hmm i wonder who the replacement will be, because i doubt the EFC will go ahead on its own

Anyways both conventions sound rocking, im tempted to go i mean i've heard such wonderful reviews from both you and squire

Well, AT and possibly Teryl are supposed to be in London at Wolf SG4 for those dates in Feb...I hope!

mmm i havnt got this particular update yet ...

hope its not cos I've been a bad girl

i asked adele if I could do a coemdy gig - no pay just maybe a ticket for the wrap party and they refused to even let me show them some scripts and then after the other guests cancelled out and i renewed my offer they went and got you know who for guest speakers ...hello I have an degree in ancient cultures
I couldnt have been an interesting speaker???

oh well lets just hope the next con has less hassles and last minute cancellations but I'm not going to another unless PW there or At presuming I have the money ...

you know I explained to adele why I didnt have the money and offered to work my way and cook free cakes and munchies for the con staff and they wouldnt even negiotate!!!

and I do a great carrot cake or spice cake :blush:

oh well the amount of bad stuff thats been happeneing lately I must be way over due for a big break in life!

Yeah, well at the banquet, they said that Suanne Braun is definitely going, along with a pretty major character....
And colin isnt exactly major, which means its probably gonna be Teryl.......Amanda wouldnt come here twice in one year..
