I love how he can be completely serious and grown up in one moment and totally funny and childlike in the next....

i think jarod's grown a lot throughout the show. and not just in the obvious 'he's experiencing new things' way, but just in the way he deals with miss p. like i was watching one of the older eps the other day and he was teasing her with something about her family and that's when i realized something. in the begining he used to always tease her about stuff like that, but i think after a while he kind of grew sensitive to the fact that she's been through enough with her family without him adding to it. in the begining it was more out of spite for her continually chasing him, etc., but i think he dropped it when he realized that emotionally she doesn't know how to leave the centre or her father. that she's been through as much as he has and teasing her about her pain may not be the best answer.

yeah. it was one of those many things they did to him as a kid. the guy who helped him out and got him off of them got killed though.

but jarod went and helped out his daughter to make up for it.
