oh, yes, it would be interesting - and potentially stressful, but not necessarily any more stressful than any other job one might hold - esp if one does not like one's job ---- i would LOVE to work for the FBI! (i know, i've already said that!)

so - shall we describe the VCTF? i'll start w/ the command center -- there's a large screen on the wall, controlled by George and his trusty computer, and this screen is at the end of a long conference table, tho there is space btwn the tabe and the wall to walk and such. Bailey sits at the head of the table (the end opp the screen - wouldn't do for him to sit under it, he couldn't see anything ), and the rest of the team sits around the table to his left and right, George and his compy are always to Bailey's left (b/c i don't think the compy gets moved much, tho it IS a laptop). There are several phones on the table (I believe, b/c they use more than one at a time in a few eps). that's pretty much it for the 'command center' itself -- anyone wanna crack at another part of the VCTF? doesn't have to be rooms or objects - talk about the team too -- or the support staff --- or the other ppl that work there, but we never see ---

| the vctf is the original rabbits warren.....you have the main command area which has the big screen and desk which H2 just described......then just outside this you have an open area that has desks for a lot of the staff........surrounding this area is a raised walkway that edges around the rooms and goes into some offices.....this is where you'll find bailey and sam.....off to one side of this area is a corridor (i think) that leads to the labs which is where you'll find Grace and her team....... ok that's about all i can remember at the moment except the lighting around the vctf is subdued.....with bright flurencet lights over certain work areas......is this to help with concentrating on your job or what! | don't know about the lighting - but you're right, it's awfully dim in there! okay -- the team itself: (this doesn't include personal life items) Bailey Malone (gotta start at the top!) - Agent Malone is the head rat in the cheese factory. He gets all the memos and confidential "Eyes Only" documents and the assignments from the even higher-ups. He 'directs' the VCTF, but gives his share of input on the situations/cases also. He holds a great deal of respect for his team and is willing to do whatever it takes to make sure they all return to HQ safe. - He apparently prefers to have background information on anyone he works with (ref: x-over eps w/ Pretender - he doesn't fully trust Jarod) and is suspicious of anyone he is not familiar with. (okay - that's all i can come up w/ for now) |

ok do next in line would have to be Samantha Waters ![]() Sam had worked for the FBI for a number of years before she had been recruited by Bailey to help them solve some murders (you guessed it Jacks' case), she left the FBI soon after the Jack of All Trades killed her husband trying to convince her that she belonged with him. Sam took her daughter Chloe and fled to the relative safety of her friend Angel's property. Sam remained there for a number of years, until Bailey came to her again and enticed her to go back to the FBI and join his section, you guessed it the VCTF. Sam has a doctorate in psychology, and uses this with her natural gift to help her solve crimes. Her gift is that she can see through the eyes of the victims that she is trying to help (avenge?). This has helped her many times, but slowly changes in the nature of what she sees. It takes her time to realise that this change has occured and it also troubles her. Samantha Waters leaves the FBI and and VCTF again after she finally finds and kills Jack, while trying to save her daughter from becoming his next victim. Willz :blpaw: :blpaw: feel free to correct any blaring errors......i'm a little on the tired side tonight ![]()

sounds good to me -- (but, i haven't seen everything yet, either) Chloe Waters - (okay -i know she's not really part of the VCTF, but she's important to the story b/c she did SEE Jack once) Daughter of Samantha Waters, she actually SAW Jack the night he killed her father, however, she saw him in one of his disguises, so the VCTF, even after asking Chloe to describe Jack, still don't know what he really looks like. Though she has a weird age skip sometime btwn seasons 2 and 3, by the end of season 3, she's around 12 years old (i think, she was 11 when they were looking for her when she 'ran away' from home when her friend was killed in a fire). She seems to have a very sweet relationship with Bailey, calls him 'Uncle Bailey', and she shows great concern when he's not well ("Ambition in the Blood" - she asks Sam what's wrong and Sam replies that Uncle Bailey's not doing so good, then Chloe asks if they can go visit him). {can ya tell which eps i've seen?} She becomes a head-strong teenager, wants her ears pierced and to be more 'grown up', but she's still a kid. (here's where i get a little 'lost' b/c i haven't seen much of season 3, so i'm not sure what else happens w/ Chloe). Okay - if there's more about her - sorry - i don't remember everything -- i do know that i like Caitlyn Wachs better than the other girl - Caitlyn was cool and had great interactions w/ Robert Davi - he's so great w/ kids!!

i swear i only watch the eppies once or twice a year.....some things kinda stick in my mind the first time i see them ![]() ah well back to the characters....... I'll take George Fraely (sp?) for a new computer thanks Monty ![]() Ok George was brought into the VCTF by John Grant (I think, I seem to remember that from somewhere). George had been a computer wizz from way back and was also into the hacking scene, which is why he nearly ended up in jail.... instead of going to jail he turned states evidence andgave up the people he was working for (with), and in return he was given a second chance. George keeps his private life just that, private until i think about the middle of the second season, where he takes Sam with him to look into the seemily anti semantic crimes that had been happening in his home town. Here we find out that he has a sister, whom his parents adore. George himself has a somewhat strained relationship with his mother, this could be because of his lifestyle or other things that have not been revealed. George also has a partner called Richie, who we do meet in the first season....althought at the time he is just introduced as his flatmate (why couldn't they just say boyfriend back then!) George uses the computer like Mozart used music....he can find anything and everything given the time and the resorces and he is rarely caught out at his own game. Willz :blpaw: :blpaw:

not a problem - if i'd seen more of Profiler - mine for Bailey would have been a lot longer --- i'll come back with some other stuff later -- i can't tell ya anything about John - Okay - Nathan Brubaker: Staff lawyer for the VCTF. Married. Mysteriously disappeared sometime in the first season just following "FTX: Field Training Exercise" -- no one really knows what happened to him, but speculate he may have left the VCTF to be with his wife, or he's in the witness protection program for some unknown evidentiary thing no one was ever notified of before his departure. (i made that last part up, why? b/c no one has any idea what happened to the man!)
