Loved the scene where Cordelia takes her car through the school to the library! Buffy facing her fear even though she knew it meant her death. The way Xander wouldn't just accept the prophecy like everyone else but tried to prevent it and ended up saving Buffy. This was definetly a great episode! ![]()

definitely a great episode... Xander's one moment of heroism for the season ( i have a theory he gets one per season!) And the face off between the master and buffy was quite cool, and the casual walking off at the end to leave the masters bones for the cleaners I assume ![]()

the running theme about her prom dress was funny too - Buffy had a line that i'm trying to remember - something to the Master in the end fight -- and i've completely lost it - it was a good line too --- dang it!!! oh well - if i remember i'll come back and post it --

[Highlander II: the running theme about her prom dress was funny too...] Oh, yeah - Willow [recovering from a vampire attack]: Buffy?... I like your dress. ----------- Master: [after killing Buffy] And by the way... I like your dress. ----------- [The last lines of the show] Angel: By the way, I really like your dress. Buffy: Yeah, yeah. Big hit with everyone.

[Highlander II: Buffy: I may be dead, but at least I'm still pretty... think that was it] Yep. ------------- Master: You're dead! Buffy: I may be dead, but I'm still pretty. Which is more than I can say for you. Master: You were destined to die! It was written! Buffy: What can I say? I flunked the written.

I still wanna know (question came to me as I was watching "When She Was Bad") -- why did the Master have bones? All other vamps turn to complete dust when they 'die' - but the Master dusted all but his bones -- how does that work??

Okay, I know this is an old episode and an old thread, but I just read the Yahoo TV listings for this one and it made me laugh, so here goes: "Prophecy Girl", Episode #1ABB12. Buffy wants to live a normal life, but plans go awry when the Earth cracks open and an army of demons emerges. Just goes to show, it's always something. 'Course, this isn't a bad metaphor for the entire series. "Buffy wants to live a normal life, but..."

Isn't that always the way? Ya know - I haven't watched this ep in a while -- Like - not since I got my S1 DVDs, I think - or during my mini Buffy-thon from a while back - Might have to pull a Buffy-thon over the summer rerun season -
