Thanks for the info knivesout. I'm really looking forward to reading the new books. It's been a while since Donaldson released anything so its nice to see him back in action.

I can't believe he's doing another Covenent series! IMHO he ruined the series by releasing the second trilogy. He should do more science fiction, his The Real Story was a fantastic set of books.

Yeah man, and I loved it, how amazing to be back in the land again after all this time. I get the feeling that it's a little like the recent Star Wars trilogy, building up, building up, then bang, but with a bit brighter ending I hope. I personally loved the new book, and enjoyed the effort Stephen put in at creating a new setting for these books, with a different angle on earthpower that made it the enemy. How did you like it?

Please tell me you're joking!!! How long does it take to write a novel anyway? Not that I'd know, but damn, that's too long surely.
As you say, let's amuse ourselves................

Re: Last Chronicles of Thomas Covenant OFFICIAL

Sadly I aint joking although given the level of complexity in Donaldson's stories this doesn't necessarily surprise me.

Signing off now (night time in OZ) and Welcome to the boards.

BTW there's an Intro thread on this forum that you may want to use to say Hi as a new member, just an idea mate!

Bye...

Me either, considering how long the originals took to complete. I'm just talking out of hope and longing, but oh well, we'll just have to wait!
By the way, I found it pretty exciting when the Ranyhyn took them to their ritual, I wish I'd have been there. These new books are different in a way, but also pure donaldson. I hope the next three are good too, as I enjoyed the first one a lot.
And yes, your advice was good, as Don is Good! Yep, a Bombers guy, and definitely not port or Crows follower, despite the rumours!
