well- this episode was pretty good - not great - but good - was kinda - well, i don't know - but thought it was weird that Buffy just assumed that Angel would go to the prom w/ her - she never asked him -- tho - Xander gets points for being nice to Cordy - esp after all the flack she gave him and all the pot-shots and such -- and she was so sure he would 'spill the beans' to everyone else about her 'money' problems --- (***hmmmm - sound like some other character on BTVS that we know?? <hint hint - season 5 - near the end>***)

actually - no - i didn't notice that --- good for Jonathan! however, i DID notice that Oz looked *way* cooler in his tux than Angel did --- ![]() they *so* could have picked a better tux for Angel - David has broad shoulders and he's quite tall - something else would have been dashing - but they just stuffed him in a plain ole tux - blah blah blah ---- the one in the wedding scene from his dream was better ---- he could have worn something more like that - (that one had a better tie too) -- Giles looked great! but - where was the pink tafetta??? ![]() oh - and someone just put Wesley out of his misery - gah! he's so much better on Angel - he's too - 'wussy' on BTVS ---- (i know he's supposed to be, but come on -- give the guy a little bit of a spine) ---

Oh yeah, Oz did look a lot better in his tux than Angel. Angel should have been put in something really spiffy. You're right, that morning coat style he wore in his wedding dream was much better. You know even in that last Angel episode Waiting In the Wings, he still wore that uniform style of tux ... the 'I rented this one.' style. ![]() Cheers,

yep - they'll spend $1000 on a leather jacket, but won't shell out the few extra bucks to get him a decent tux? oh come on! thought the wardrobe ppl were supposed to make the characters look good in their clothes, not rented --- Angel looked like a rent a goof or something -- what was with that -- no really - he didn't look BAD, per se, but he could have looked so much better -- they just kinda killed the 'i have some sense of style' bit about him w/ that tux --- but Oz - man - that was sweet! the vest - excellent!

i'm still trying to figure out why Buffy thought a 200+ yr old vampire would automatically want to go to the prom with her? or want to go at all. It probably wasn't at the top of his 'to-do' list - thought Buffy was pretty smart - wouldn't she realize that he's like over 200 and might not really wanna hang out w/ a bunch of teenagers? i mean - she should have asked him, not just assumed he was gonna go --- and i was really expecting him to show wearing some really dashing tux, but he had that rental - blah -- okay - do we remember anything else about this episode? sorry - all i got is Angel in the bad tux and Giles and Oz lookin' sharp -

This is also the ep where Angel tells Buffy that he's gonna leave - that he doesn't think it'll work between them... and it totally devastates Buffy - she has that big cry scene with Willow where she says she can't breathe -- What I want to know is... (spoiler for S6) Why she doesn't remember how she felt when Angel broke up with her - for good reasons - when she ditched Spike (also for good reasons, but that's not what I'm asking)? Does she remember how hurt she was? And since, somewhere in there, she had to have realized that Spike could feel - otherwise she wouldn't have added the 'I'm sorry, William' to the end of her 'we're over' speech - so, she didn't get that it might crush him? See, this is where Buffy starts to irritate me - ppl hurting her is bad, but it's okay if she hurts other people? She does it a lot and it never seems to bother her - I don't get that.

saw that - and we weren't setting a bad example -- a bad example would have been if we'd had the whole discussion w/o spoiler boxes --- ![]() however - yes - saw that - and no problem....
