Didn't those German guys ever see who Faith was before the Homecoming Dance?

yeah- i kinda wondered that too ---

if this plan was so perfectly laid out - why didn't anyone ever show the 'minions' any pictures of their targets??

They both saw Buffy because they were tailing her and I would have imagined that they would have done the same with Faith. How else would they have known that she was going to be going to the dance with Buffy? It really didn't make much sense to me, but I've only seen it the one time so maybe I'm missing something.

well -- if they were tailing Buffy - she did talk to Faith and they agreed to go to the dance together -- now, whether or not they were, at that point, tailing her w/ 'video' i don't know - it might have just been audio ---
