I'd never watched Buffy before FOX started showing them so all of this is new to me.

I never cared much for Faith, but I did feel sorry for her towards the end of this episode and wonder what becomes of her. Was she really starting to have regrets about what she'd done? Or was this just another switch in the incredibly 'needy' part of her ... what I mean is my impression of her is that she needs to be 'needed' and wants a family so bad that when she becomes Buffy, she latches onto it so much so that she begins to think she really is.

And if that makes sense, you need more sleep than I do.

Cheers,

well i can't say it makes perfect sense, but I haven't seen this one for a while...

Faith certainly enjoyed herself in Buffy's shoes though...

Especially when she's beating up on that vamp in the church before Faith/Buffy dusted him. I kind of wondered what the real Buffy was thinking during all of that?

I think that this episode was one of the first times I saw a vamp get scorched by exposure to sunlight, and it was very cool (not for him obviously )

saw this yesterday --- (seen it once b4, but this time it made more sense) --

as for Faith -- i still don't like her -- oh - and MythingLink -- ya gotta watch Angel to find out what happens to her -- sux if ya don't have WB (i have a friend w/ tapes tho!)

anyway -- i think Faith might need to be 'needed' - however, if that's the case - why is she so b*tchy to Buffy's mom??

have to say i love the scene in the Bronze where she's 'lacerating' Spike -- very cool - and he's very confused ---

oh - and how random was the 'Riley going to church' thing? it was never mentioned before -- or was that 'i was late for church' thing just a sarcastic line? i still don't get that --

Riley's an Iowa country boy, of course he goes to church! *snerk*

And he did need an excuse to be there all dressed up.

just kinda odd that he doesn't mention it before or after this episode -- he only just happens to go this one time --

very inconsistent Iowa boy ----

[Highlander II: just kinda odd that he doesn't mention it before or after this episode]

Perhaps he did mention it to Buffy before. Just because we didn't see it, doesn't mean that it didn't happen. For instance, I remember him telling Buffy that he likes to take long drives to relax, but we never saw him driving a car, at least not a civilian one.

Since Faith is there and not Buffy, she just didn't know about his Sunday habit.

okay - him not driving tho he said he takes drives doesn't bother me as much as the church thing ---

i can believe that riley goes to church - i just find it odd that it's never mentioned before --

now - don't try to tell me that all the other scenes we've had w/ riley have been on non-Sundays - b/c that's a cop-out --

i'm just a stickler for details - and i know it's just a little thing - but it was buggin' me ---
