okay - lemme just say -- SPIKE! (finally after how many episodes of no-Spike? gah!) --

anyway ---

1st - boy does Buffy have a lot to learn - about how people work anyway -- maybe she shouldn't skip psych class anymore --

2nd - totally love Spike digging for this jem -- of course, the fight double they had for James had the WORST hair coloring job ever - can we say YELLOW? --- grrr - bad bad hair on the double -

anyway --- the fight, otherwise, very nice -

and - ya know - good thing i've seen the Angel ep that concludes this one -- dang it -- i hate that! don't get the WB, so, i probably wouldn't have known that there WAS an Angel part but for my friend who has all the Angel eps -- anyway ---

back to the Jem of Amara (or is it Amarra?) -- and the ep --

um - did that scar on Buffy's neck look nothing like Angel's bite, or was it just me?? (yes, i'm nitpicky ---)

I wish FX would start airing the old Angel episodes alongside the Buffy ones so that I could see that one.

yeah -- it really helps if you can see the Angel ep that goes w/ it -
kinda helps explain Spike's little monologue-ish bit at the beginning of "Wild at Heart" --

i mean - it's not completely necessary to know what happened on Angel - unless you want to know what happened to the ring - b/c of the way they ended Buffy - she's sending the ring to Angel - the end ---

but Spike is in that Angel ep (sorry, don't remember the ep title) - good a reason to watch as any!

really - i like Angel too, but Spike's my fave character --
