| ahhhhhh -- the episode where Spike doesn't show until 3/4 of the way through ---- grrrrrrrrrrrrrr -- it's that 'underuse of important characters' thing again -- and THEN he only shows b/c Buffy needed someplace 'safe' to leave Dawn while she went to the hospital to be w/ Willow and Tara --- okay - couple of questions -- 1) if Buffy's still ticked at Spike over the bot - why the heck did she take Dawn to stay w/ him? (b/c she is still angry tho she told him he did a 'good thing' by protecting the secret) and 2) why isn't Dawn going to the hospital too? Willow and Tara have taken care of her too -- oh - then Spike gets another pivotal line - 'a pissed off and powerful witch' just decided to NOT go after Glory b/c Buffy 'explained' to her? go Spike w/ the honesty and seeing through to shove the blindingly obvious in Buffy's face --- (sorry - still annoyed that Spike only had 4 mins of airtime in this ep) -- so - Buffy then runs off to help Willow - lalalalalalala --- the end --- okay - sure - whatever ------ Buffy believes firmly that Spike would rat them out in a second to Glory (who offerred him nothing in return for that information); but doesn't believe that her friends would run off to beat the snot out of the hell god? hmmmm -- you'd figure after 4/5 years of being on a hellmouth and being the Slayer - she'd have picked up some things --- (and yeah - i'm still annoyed about the Spike thing -- oh - and Dawn didn't get so much airtime either - grrr) okay - i'm done -- this episode's okay - but not as good as "Intervention" or as "Spiral" (the next ep) --- |
