It is a question of equilibrium. The author needs to create balance. The whole world is afterall in pure chaos, so it natural that the story end with the world in some sort of balance. Sorganti can bring Hugh to heal, I am sure of it. Though I think Alain would heal her heart. I can only visualise Alain moving around like a hobo with his two dogs. Can Hugh learn Sorganti's power? I don't thinks so. The Quman feared her kind. I would not like either outcome in truth, and the more I think about it, the more I realise it does not matter. |
