| ehem, speaking as a representative of the top 11% of the graduating class of 2001 (sadly, it's only 11%..*sniff*)... The Simpsons is an educational show. We watched an episode in Chemistry class once (I forget which ep). The sly references are often history lessons ("President Garfield spanked me on 2 non-consecutive occasions." Grover Cleveland was the only president to serve 2 non-consecutive terms) The ep where Homor became famous for his art showed a lot of famous artwork and artists. There is so much other stuff this that I can't even begin to go into detail. To say that TV rots your brain is fallicy. I learned most of what I know from TV, and I'm not complaining. It was fun AND educational. So in conclusion, the Simpsons rock. Morrigan |

| Definately educational. For an English calss in Highschool we saw The LEnore one and the tell tale heart one cause it was all about the stories. The show touches home base several times in the education department. How anyone could think it makes a person "thick"... is beyond me. |
