| Re: Did you cry? (be honest) Nope. ![]() I was actually disappointed at the end - wasn't a very epic sailing away. Also - very glad we didn't see the scouring of the shire at the cinema - would have made it too long. ![]() |

| Re: Did you cry? (be honest) Oh, I always cry at movies. They don't even have to be sad movies. I am way too sentimental for my own good. But, yes, I did cry at ROTK. Intermittently, thought the whole dratted thing. The thing that really got me, though, was when Aragon told the Hobbits that they must bow to no one, and then everyone bowed to them. |

I do wish it had ended there. Especially since they didn't put all of the return to the Shire parts in. | |

| Re: Did you cry? (be honest) Oh god. i am such a softy these days. If a movie's music swells, I get teary eyed. Yes, i got really emotional at the end. i blame Titanic. i cried like a baby at that movie, and now i do at anything remotley emotional, good or bad. I got a little emberassed watching brother bear.... The worst movie for me is the Abyss. When Ed Harris has his emotional breakdown because his wife is "dead", i completely break down. |

| Re: Did you cry? (be honest) OMG, I love "The Abyss". I bawl my eyes out at that part. The whole movie is great though. I really should get that DVD. I try to watch it whenever it comes on the tv.Dead Man Walking gets me too. I've only seen it once though. |

| Re: Did you cry? | Re: Did you cry? (be honest) I cry at the drop of a hat! I always bring tissues with me - I'm a practical goddess .I mostly cry at happy, wonderful things like the part with Aragorn and the Hobbits that LittleMiss mentioned. Sappy, feel-good movies always get me teary eyed when at the end everyone is happy and it all works out beautifully. Probably just crying because crap like that doesn't happen in real life . |

| Re: Did you cry? (be honest) It doesnt hurt that if i had to pick an actor to be my surrogate father, it would be Ed Harris. I have based a couple of characters off of characters he has played. He is just so damn likeable. ![]() |

| Re: Did you cry? (be honest) I'm glad I'm in good company. I cried at ROTK and I like Ed Harris. I cried when they showed the flashback of Borimir's death and Pippin was moved to pledge himself to the Steward of Gondor. I never used to cry at movies. My "Titanic" was The Lion King. It started the tears. |
