I read her trilogy. The first one I read, Songs from the Drowned Lands, I liked by far the best -- the others just didn't strike any chords with me.
Wasn't aware of The Snow Queen or The Alchemist's Daughter but they certainly sound interesting. The Andersen fairy tale is one of my life-long favorites, and anything with alchemy in the title grabs my attention. Thanks for pointing them out, Rosemary. |
