Yes, and it happens while writing as well.

Goblet of Fire

Okay, how many of you felt deeply disappointed that:

Cedric was killed thus bringing on an oppressive feeling to the story.

In a way Cedric's dying is good in the story because it shows that things don't always come out all Rosey, but on the other hand, this is suppose to be a fantasy

Well, took me awhile to get back here! I agree that when I first get the books I read them until I"m goggle-eyed! They are quite engrossing. I've read each several times.

I wanted to clear up about the Voldemort/Dumbledore thing. What I meant was that their *names* sound similar when you pronounce them out loud. Nothing to do with the voices of the characters. Sorry if that was confusing!

This book was very intense. It did start out like the others but I thought the ending was very sad and heavy. I just wanted Harry to have some place safe to go and really cry and talk about his experiences. I can't imagine him going home to the Dursley's after what he'd been through. Don't want him to end up totally messed up mentally.

I liked a lot of the subplots in the book, too. I don't know how to do the spoiler thing so I won't go into any details. Is it not okay to talk about the story without the spoiler tags?

Anyway, I can't wait for the next one!

About Harry turning out mental because of the Dursleys: I wouldn't worry about that. I have a book on real sorcery that states that a true sorcerer (or wizard) needs petty tyrants to help develop purseverence, (sorry about spelling), patience, ruthlessness, cunning, and good stuff like that. Harry will mature beautifully if he doesn't get killed off by the Goddess R.K. herself. Hopefully she won't get bored of writing about Harry.

Arrow *****SPOILERS******

I think it's okay to talk freely aout book four in this thread due to the fact that it's title is About Book 4.
That being said: for anyone who wishes to avoid the Book four spoilers that may appear below throughout the rest of this thread you are warned.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I am rereading book four right now. Just started. so far he hasn't even finished his letter to sirius. You know the one in the very beginning.
