Note: The following is a twisted version of Sleeping Beauty. If it wasnft for Skipfs lack of sleep, this fic would have never come to be. Thank you for the wonderful, endless fics and total insanities from which I become inspired.

Narrator: Annette
Sleeping Beauty: Skip
Evil Witch: Carter
Witchfs servant: Nic
Pink Fairy: Serena
Blue Fairy: Bee
Green Fairy: Hyper Peacekeeper Maria

Queen: Sam
Prince Charming: Jack
Town Squire: Tealfc

ANNETTE: Once upon a time, long, long ago, there lived a King and Queen who had a daughter. They named her Emily. A year after she was born they had a big Birthday party for her and invited the entire kingdom.
Tealfc: Here Ye! Here ye! One and all youfre invited to the Princessfs one year Birthday Ball! As proclaimed by the King of Camelot, No by the Great King Daniel Jackson!
Annette: Three fairies came and noticed their bad tempered sister was absent from this grand celebration.
Bee: Just like Carter to miss all the fun.
Serena: Itfs not her kind of fun anyway.
Annette: The three fairies shuddered at the thought of what their sister thought was fun. The Evening was going well. A young prince was there and he thought the baby was pretty. Soon it was time for the three fairies to give a gift to the child. The pink Fairy went first.
Serena: You shall have great beauty, to surpass even the most picturesque girl in all the lands.
Annette: Then the Green Fairy said her blessing for the child.
Hyper Peacekeeper Maria: You shall have the most beautiful voice from the heavens above, and you will be able to tell great stories.
Annette: Then it was the Blue Fairyfs turn:
Bee: The Gift I give to you shall bec
Annette: Then a bluish-gray puff of smoke filled the room. And the room gasped at the amazing sight of c Carter, in a long flowing gown with a crown on her head.
Carter: How Dare you not invite me to this gallant affair! The Birth of a child is a grand thing and should not be ignored. Well youfve ignored me! But I will not do the same! When your daughter is 16years old she will prick her finger on a single rose and she shall DIE! Ha-ha-ah-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha!
Annette: At this the evil witch disappeared in a whitish gray puff of smoke.
Sam: Nooooo! Not my Precious daughter!
Daniel: Unspeakable! Guards!
Annette: With a few words of wisdom, the green fairy interrupted the king.
Hyper Peacekeeper Maria: Excuse me, your Majesty. I beg you pardon your grace. Bee still has yet to give her gift to the newborn child. She may not be able to undo Carterfs magic but she can soften it.
Annette: The king allows the Blue Fairy to give his child hope.
Daniel: Very well. Please continue.
Bee: Yes, your Majesty. You shall not die if you are pricked, only sleep till loves true kiss.
Sam: That was beautiful. Thank you Bee.
Bee: It was the best I could do.
Serena: Still we should take all precautions!
Daniel: Yes! It shall be proclaimed that all roses in the land shall be burned at dawn!
Tealfc: Here Ye! Here ye! One and all! All roses in the land are to be burned at dawn! As proclaimed by the Great King Arthur, No the Grand King Daniel Jackson!
Annette: That night there was a large Bonfire of roses. The king and the fairies decided to hide the princess from the evil witch. Queen Samantha cried as the fairies took young Emily from her arms but she knew it was for the best. The Fairies decided not to use any Magic to bring up the princess. They took her to a cottage in the woods to live with them. To disguise her from the evil witch they changed Emilyfs name to Skip.
Fifteen years went by. Skip grew to be a lovely young girl. She told her gauntsh lovely stories and made up great tales for all the animals in the forest. One day while she was singing a story to the tune of the birds, a young man on horse back heard her beautiful voice. He followed the voice deep into the forest. Then he saw her, before him he saw the most enchanting girl he had ever seen. As she finished her song he applauded and walked into the clearing to meet this mysterious beauty.
Jack: Hello. That was beautiful.
Annette: Skip blushes. She does not know who this man is but she thinks to herself that he is quite handsome.
Jack: My Name is Jack. What is yours?
Skip: Myc name?
Jack: Yes.
Skip: My Name is Skip.
Annette: She answers him shyly.
Jack: What an enchanting name.
Annette: They sing a song of love to each other and spend the morning together. Suddenly Skip remembers she was supposed to be home for lunch.
Skip: Oh No! Ifm late! I have to go now.
Jack: Will you meet me here again tomorrow?
Skip: Yes! Of course I will!
Annette: Meanwhile back at the cottage the three fairies are setting up a surprise party for Skip. For the first time in years they pull out their wands and use their magic to clean the place up, bake a cake, and make a gown for the lovely princess Emily. She would be leaving the next day for home after all and they would miss her. Tomorrow she would be 17 years old and the spell would be broken.
Serena: Just think. Tonight we take Skip home so she will be with her family again.
Hyper Peacekeeper Maria: Aww do we have too?
Serena: We most certainly do! She should be with her mother and Father.
Bee: I wish you werenft always right. And the dress should be blue!
Serena: No Pink!
Annette: Meanwhilec in another part of the forest the evil witch, Carter waits for her servants to return with news of Princess Emily. One of them finally arrives.
Nic: Ifm sorry my queen. We found no sign of the princess.
Carter What!
Nic: We searched all the cradles andc
Carter: What! You Insolent Fool! For 16 years you have been searching for a baby? Away with you! I guess what they say is true. If you want something done right you must do it yourself!
Annette: A black Mist fills the room. And when the mist dispels all that is left where Carter was is a black crow.

Annette: Carter flies through the forest. As she flies over head a tree turns blue and a bush turns pink. Then she sees a cottage. She lands on a windowsill to see her sisters fighting over the color of a dress.
Serena: Pink!
Bee: Blue!
Serena: Pink!
Annette: They both hit the dress at the same time with their magic and the color effect is atrocious.
Bee: Now see what you did?
Serena: Me?
Hyper Peacekeeper Maria: You both did that.
Serena: What will Emily think? She goes home tonight and today we tell her shefs a princess and, and
Annette: Skip comes in the door. Carter flies away quietly. Serena immediately turns the dress to pink. Then when Serenafs not looking Bee quickly turns it blue. Skip sees the Cake first. Chocolate her favorite flavor. She waits patiently for her Aunts to explain. They yellc
Together: Surprise! Happy Birthday!
Skip: Oh! My Birthday is not until tomorrow. Thank you! Thank you!
Annette: Bee shows her the dress. Skip loves it too. She thanks them for their gifts and saysc
Skip: Letfs eat the cake now so I can tell you the wonderful thing that happened to me today!
Hyper Peacekeeper Maria: What is it that is so wonderful that happened to you today?
Annette: They have the triple layer chocolate cake and then Skip tells them about her day in the forest.
Skip: I met the most handsome creature in the forest today. Ifm in Love!
Annette: the three fairies glance towards each other.
Serena: but you canft be in love. Youfre betrothed to a prince.
Skip: Noo! Why would I be betrothed to a prince?
Hyper Peacekeeper Maria: You are a princess. Your real name is Emily.
Skip: No it canft be! Ifm a princess? This ruins everything!
Bee: Ruins everything?
Skip: Yes it means the man I love canft be my love!
Annette: Skip runs to her room Crying. The three fairies convince her to go to the castle with them. The walk there is quiet along the way with the exception of gentle sobs from Princess Emily. They get to the castle and show the princess to her room. Then they step out for a moment.
Serena: This is no good. She wasnft supposed to meet a man in the woods and fall in love.
Bee: And now shefs crushed that she will never see him again.
Hyper Peacekeeper Maria: This is all our fault.
Serena: We canft blame ourselves for this.
Annette: While the fairies argue amongst themselves the evil witch draws the princess from her room and up the tower stairs. She reaches the tower and opens the door. She walks into a room and in the room is a single solitary red rose. She has never seen a rose before and she finds it to be quite beautiful.
Skip: Oooh.
Annette: she caresses the petals. Then she felt the need to hold it. She took hold of the stem and felt a prick. She collapses to the floor.
Carter: Ha-ah-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha! Now she shall die!
Annette: While she says this, the three fairies burst into the tower and see Skip lying on the floor next to a red rose. Carter disappears into thin air with her cackling left in the fairies ears.
Serena: Oh no!
Bee: She sleeps.
Hyper Peacekeeper Maria: No look shefs awake.
Skip: Are you kidding sleep, through a fic? Not likely!
Bee: But youfre supposed to sleep now.
Skip: With my insomnia? I donft think thatfs possible.
Annette: Suddenly Skip collapses to the floor again. This time she is in a deep sleep.
Bee: But I thought she said that was impossible.
Serena: Must have been a delay in magic.
Hyper Peacekeeper Maria: Thatfs strange.
Serena: She sleepsc so peaceful. So young. The entire kingdom shall sleep with her.
Annette: The whole kingdom drops what they are doing and goes to sleep. Years Later, a young prince, not quite so young anymore, was still searching for the beautiful, exquisite young girl he had met and fallen in love with that one morning in the woods.
He comes to a peaceful kingdom. He remembers this place like it was in a dream. He goes through the kingdom and finds everyone asleep. He comes upon one of the three fairies. She looks at him skeptically.
Hyper Peacekeeper Maria: Welcome. May I ask what you are doing here?
Jack: Ifm searching for my true love. And have come to this peaceful kingdom in peace.
Hyper Peacekeeper Maria: And what may I ask is the name of your true love?
Jack: I would never forget such a thing. For she told me herself, it was Skip. Ifm wasting my time here. Ifll just be on my way if you donft mind.
Annette: The Fairy smiled as she suppressed the laughter that was bubbling up inside her.
Hyper Peacekeeper Maria: That would be a grave mistake young man.
Annette: She said with the straightest face she could manage.
Hyper Peacekeeper Maria: The gravest mistake ever made by a young man in search of true love.
Annette: She had now caught his full attention. And he stopped in his tracks. He suddenly had a cold shiver run up his spine.
Jack: What do you mean?
Hyper Peacekeeper Maria: The one you search for awaits you here, asleep in this sleeping kingdom.
Jack: Where?
Annette: He said with excitement in his voice. The Fairy showed the man to where his princess awaited him. As they reached the door the evil witch saw them and Decided that the princess would not be awakened she materialized into the room.
Carter: And just what do you think youfre doing?
Jack: Coming to set my love free of this awful curse.
Annette: Before he knew it the prince was not at the last step to the door where the princes lay. He was in a dungeon without sword or shield.
Jack: Hey! Whatfs going on?
Carter: Ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha! The princess will never be awakened! She will sleep forever!
Annette: At this she left him alone in the dungeon to rot. Of course his first thought was that he had to escape. But how could he possibly do that? He had no clue. There was a shuffle at the door to his ecellf. Then the three fairies came in.
Bee: You must hurry! Carter knows wefre here.
Serena: Youfre going to have to fight her to escape!
Jack: I have no sword or shield. I canft fight without them!
Serena: hmmc I know!
Annette: A shield and sword magically appear in the princefs hands.
Serena: These are magical and are the only weapons you can use to defeat The evil witch Carter.
Annette: As they hurry to make their escape they run into the evil witch.
Carter: Now where do you think youfre going?
Jack: Ifm going to marry my long lost love!
Carter: No you arenft!
Annette: Jack holds up his shield and nothing happens to him. The three fairies disappear. The evil witch is now angry that her magic didnft work on him. She turns herself into an enormous dragon! The prince ducks a fiery blast and blocks another with his shield. Then in an instant he thrusts the sword into Carterfs Dragon Body and she was gone. It was as if she had not been there cowering over him a moment before.
The three fairies came back and congratulated him. Then they took him magically to the room where the princess was laid. He saw the beauty of her that he had seen in the woods before. He knelt beside the bed and held her hand.
Jack: She too sleeps in this sleeping kingdom?
Hyper Peacekeeper Maria: Yes she does. The only thing that could wake her is lovefs true kiss.
Annette: He bent down and kissed her gently on the lips. Her eyes fluttered open and she gazed into his eyes and she knew it was the man she had seen in the woods. Strangely to her, he seemed older now.
Skip: Jack!
Annette: She exclaimed. They embraced and to her delight he gave her a very passionate kiss. The kingdom awoke slowly but surely and to the kingfs great delight his daughter was in love with a prince from a distant land. They were married and the recession was beautiful. At the celebration after the party as the Princess and Prince danced in each otherfs arms the pink fairy noticed the dress was a blue instead of pink.
Serena: The right color is pink!
Annette: The blue fairy noticed that her sister changed the dress to pink and immediately turned it back to blue.
Bee: No blue!
Annette: They argued over the color of the dress changing it as they argued it was beautiful to see the couple dance with the princessfs dress changing colors from a lovely blue to a pretty pink. And they all lived happily ever after.

Asmiley: I thought it was. Heard some snickering in the back, good thing I sound proofed it.
Jack: How came I had to use a sword and not a Zat gun?
Asmiley: you wanted to ruin a perfectly good thing like nobility just for a stupid modern weapon?
Jack: Listen Zat guns arenft stupid they can kill very quickly and itfs very painful to be zated. I mean even on stun itfs painful. I should know!
Asmiley: Sorry! Look, it was funny then. Ifm not zatting you now so stop complaining or I can always have gemmy on standby.
Gemsong: Did you call me Asmiley? (Holding zat gun in her hands with a wicked grin on her face.)

Skip: My Name is Skip. Annette: She answers him shyly. Jack: What an enchanting name. Annette: They sing a song of love to each other and spend the morning together. Suddenly Skip remembers she was supposed to be home for lunch. Skip: Oh No! Ifm late! I have to go now. Jack: Will you meet me here again tomorrow? Skip: Yes! Of course I will! Annette: Meanwhile back at the cottage the three fairies are setting up a surprise party for Skip. For the first time in years they pull out their wands and use their magic to clean the place up, bake a cake, and make a gown for the lovely princess Emily. She would be leaving the next day for home after all and they would miss her. Tomorrow she would be 17 years old and the spell would be broken. Serena: Just think. Tonight we take Skip home so she will be with her family again. Hyper Peacekeeper Maria: Aww do we have too? Serena: We most certainly do! She should be with her mother and Father. Bee: I wish you werenft always right. And the dress should be blue! Serena: No Pink! Annette: Meanwhilec in another part of the forest the evil witch, Carter waits for her servants to return with news of Princess Emily. One of them finally arrives. Nic: Ifm sorry my queen. We found no sign of the princess. Carter What! Nic: We searched all the cradles andc Carter: What! You Insolent Fool! For 16 years you have been searching for a baby? Away with you! I guess what they say is true. If you want something done right you must do it yourself! Annette: A black Mist fills the room. And when the mist dispels all that is left where Carter was is a black crow. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Annette: Carter flies through the forest. As she flies over head a tree turns blue and a bush turns pink. Then she sees a cottage. She lands on a windowsill to see her sisters fighting over the color of a dress. Serena: Pink! Bee: Blue! Serena: Pink! Annette: They both hit the dress at the same time with their magic and the color effect is atrocious. Bee: Now see what you did? Serena: Me? Hyper Peacekeeper Maria: You both did that. Serena: What will Emily think? She goes home tonight and today we tell her shefs a princess and, and Annette: Skip comes in the door. Carter flies away quietly. Serena immediately turns the dress to pink. Then when Serenafs not looking Bee quickly turns it blue. Skip sees the Cake first. Chocolate her favorite flavor. She waits patiently for her Aunts to explain. They yellc Together: Surprise! Happy Birthday! Skip: Oh! My Birthday is not until tomorrow. Thank you! Thank you! Annette: Bee shows her the dress. Skip loves it too. She thanks them for their gifts and saysc Skip: Letfs eat the cake now so I can tell you the wonderful thing that happened to me today! Hyper Peacekeeper Maria: What is it that is so wonderful that happened to you today? Annette: They have the triple layer chocolate cake and then Skip tells them about her day in the forest. Skip: I met the most handsome creature in the forest today. Ifm in Love! Annette: the three fairies glance towards each other. Serena: but you canft be in love. Youfre betrothed to a prince. Skip: Noo! Why would I be betrothed to a prince? Hyper Peacekeeper Maria: You are a princess. Your real name is Emily. Skip: No it canft be! Ifm a princess? This ruins everything! Bee: Ruins everything? Skip: Yes it means the man I love canft be my love! Annette: Skip runs to her room Crying. The three fairies convince her to go to the castle with them. The walk there is quiet along the way with the exception of gentle sobs from Princess Emily. They get to the castle and show the princess to her room. Then they step out for a moment. Serena: This is no good. She wasnft supposed to meet a man in the woods and fall in love. Bee: And now shefs crushed that she will never see him again. Hyper Peacekeeper Maria: This is all our fault. Serena: We canft blame ourselves for this. Annette: While the fairies argue amongst themselves the evil witch draws the princess from her room and up the tower stairs. She reaches the tower and opens the door. She walks into a room and in the room is a single solitary red rose. She has never seen a rose before and she finds it to be quite beautiful. Skip: Oooh. Annette: she caresses the petals. Then she felt the need to hold it. She took hold of the stem and felt a prick. She collapses to the floor. Carter: Ha-ah-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha! Now she shall die! Annette: While she says this, the three fairies burst into the tower and see Skip lying on the floor next to a red rose. Carter disappears into thin air with her cackling left in the fairies ears. Serena: Oh no! Bee: She sleeps. Hyper Peacekeeper Maria: No look shefs awake. Skip: Are you kidding sleep, through a fic? Not likely! Bee: But youfre supposed to sleep now. Skip: With my insomnia? I donft think thatfs possible. Annette: Suddenly Skip collapses to the floor again. This time she is in a deep sleep. Bee: But I thought she said that was impossible. Serena: Must have been a delay in magic. Hyper Peacekeeper Maria: Thatfs strange. Serena: She sleepsc so peaceful. So young. The entire kingdom shall sleep with her. Annette: The whole kingdom drops what they are doing and goes to sleep. Years Later, a young prince, not quite so young anymore, was still searching for the beautiful, exquisite young girl he had met and fallen in love with that one morning in the woods. He comes to a peaceful kingdom. He remembers this place like it was in a dream. He goes through the kingdom and finds everyone asleep. He comes upon one of the three fairies. She looks at him skeptically. Hyper Peacekeeper Maria: Welcome. May I ask what you are doing here? Jack: Ifm searching for my true love. And have come to this peaceful kingdom in peace. Hyper Peacekeeper Maria: And what may I ask is the name of your true love? Jack: I would never forget such a thing. For she told me herself, it was Skip. Ifm wasting my time here. Ifll just be on my way if you donft mind. Annette: The Fairy smiled as she suppressed the laughter that was bubbling up inside her. Hyper Peacekeeper Maria: That would be a grave mistake young man. Annette: She said with the straightest face she could manage. Hyper Peacekeeper Maria: The gravest mistake ever made by a young man in search of true love. Annette: She had now caught his full attention. And he stopped in his tracks. He suddenly had a cold shiver run up his spine. Jack: What do you mean? Hyper Peacekeeper Maria: The one you search for awaits you here, asleep in this sleeping kingdom. Jack: Where? Annette: He said with excitement in his voice. The Fairy showed the man to where his princess awaited him. As they reached the door the evil witch saw them and Decided that the princess would not be awakened she materialized into the room. Carter: And just what do you think youfre doing? Jack: Coming to set my love free of this awful curse. Annette: Before he knew it the prince was not at the last step to the door where the princes lay. He was in a dungeon without sword or shield. Jack: Hey! Whatfs going on? Carter: Ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha! The princess will never be awakened! She will sleep forever! Annette: At this she left him alone in the dungeon to rot. Of course his first thought was that he had to escape. But how could he possibly do that? He had no clue. There was a shuffle at the door to his ecellf. Then the three fairies came in. Bee: You must hurry! Carter knows wefre here. Serena: Youfre going to have to fight her to escape! Jack: I have no sword or shield. I canft fight without them! Serena: hmmc I know! Annette: A shield and sword magically appear in the princefs hands. Serena: These are magical and are the only weapons you can use to defeat The evil witch Carter. Annette: As they hurry to make their escape they run into the evil witch. Carter: Now where do you think youfre going? Jack: Ifm going to marry my long lost love! Carter: No you arenft! Annette: Jack holds up his shield and nothing happens to him. The three fairies disappear. The evil witch is now angry that her magic didnft work on him. She turns herself into an enormous dragon! The prince ducks a fiery blast and blocks another with his shield. Then in an instant he thrusts the sword into Carterfs Dragon Body and she was gone. It was as if she had not been there cowering over him a moment before. The three fairies came back and congratulated him. Then they took him magically to the room where the princess was laid. He saw the beauty of her that he had seen in the woods before. He knelt beside the bed and held her hand. Jack: She too sleeps in this sleeping kingdom? Hyper Peacekeeper Maria: Yes she does. The only thing that could wake her is lovefs true kiss. Annette: He bent down and kissed her gently on the lips. Her eyes fluttered open and she gazed into his eyes and she knew it was the man she had seen in the woods. Strangely to her, he seemed older now. Skip: Jack! Annette: She exclaimed. They embraced and to her delight he gave her a very passionate kiss. The kingdom awoke slowly but surely and to the kingfs great delight his daughter was in love with a prince from a distant land. They were married and the recession was beautiful. At the celebration after the party as the Princess and Prince danced in each otherfs arms the pink fairy noticed the dress was a blue instead of pink. Serena: The right color is pink! Annette: The blue fairy noticed that her sister changed the dress to pink and immediately turned it back to blue. Bee: No blue! Annette: They argued over the color of the dress changing it as they argued it was beautiful to see the couple dance with the princessfs dress changing colors from a lovely blue to a pretty pink. And they all lived happily ever after.
