Well it is grey and rainy here today....
So how does everyone like to spend a day like this....
I am opting for the following....

1 cup of hot cocoa
1 good book
1 flanel robe
1 old t-shirt
1 set of baggy sweats
and of course my trusty fluffy Eeyore socks

That sounds like wonderful way to relax on a rainy day. And Eeyore socks on a grey and gloomy day--perfect!

I myself have been sweating in this heat in a pair of shorts and a tank. In fact, i went to the beach today. Sat in the sun and the sand, got sand in my sandwhich, nearly got in a fight over a parking spot, ended up hiking about the parking lot and parking way the hell away (somewhere by Alaska, i think). Watched the cute lifeguards rush about and then played with the kids.

And i ask you this, how on earth does a kid get tar on himself at the beach--in the water no less! Tar!?

But, back to the subject at hand, a perfect rainy day (in my opinion) is curling up with a good book in my sweats and my fuzzy purple socks. But perhaps i will have to get myself a pair of Eeyore socks as well 'cuase now i'm jealous.

I love the smell of rain, especially at the desert.

well - in the rain -- or, when it's dark and gloomy -- hmmm -- i'm liking those Eyeore socks too, btw!!!

1 notebook (for writing fanfic)
1 pen (for writing fanfic)
1 unfinished fanfic (i do a lot of writing when it's raining)
1 cd w/ music of choice (usually Matchbox Twenty if writing fanfic)
1 drink of some flavor (usually juice or water, but sometimes cocoa or hot cider - non-alcoholic kind)

as far as dress - i pretty much only wear blue jeans - don't own any sweats -

but, like Sandman - it's been hot as he!! here and there's been no need for 'dark and gloomy' clothes -- tho, we did get some rain recently - it was very nice -- but still a bit warm --

It's been 100 degrees(or close to that) for the past 2 months. If it would rain I would sit at the window and watch. Or go out and play in it.

I like to spend a rainy day drawing anime, and writing my fan fic for a while. That usually is fun. And speakin on Ascifi (where would we b without it?)

Hehehe...glad you guys approve of my Eeyore socks....I love that donkey! LOL
I am a big Pooh Bear fan and Eeyore is my absolute favorite...I have socks, slippers, T-shirts, pillows, figurines and also lots of stuffed Eeyores.....I guess I will never grow up! Oh bother LOL.......
As for playing in the rain I did that last night as well I went for a long walk in the evening.

it's actually been quite sunny and warm
and nice in general...

but i've got this DREADFUL AWFUL PAINFUL cold.
in the middle of the summer!

*cough cough!*

so i've been wearing warm clothes
and doing nothing but reading fanfic
and reading books!

sometimes being ill is good...
my parents let me sleep all i want!

Feeling all puny....
When I get sick I never seem to do it halfway...LOL....I always get sick enough to where I look and feel like death warmed over.
It really sucks when one has to huff it to work when sick...that is the worst!
Last time I had a good case of the flu it was the first time in 3 years that I missed a day of work LOL.....as I fainted dead away in the morning trying to feed my dogs.
Usually it's me, a big cup of tea or OJ, my flannel robe, reading material and whatever meds I can get my hands on when I am puny......
