Our Australian author, Cecilia Dart-Thornton will be attending SwanCon Convention on the 3rd - 6th March. I just hope I haven't left if too late to get a ticket. This will be my first Convention I have attended and am really looking forward to it.
Prior to this, Ms Dart-Thornton will be booksigning and chatting at Dymocks Bookshop in one of our large Shopping Centres. So, I shall have to buy a copy of Volume 2 of The Crowthistle Chronicles.
She is also attending The University of Western Australia's Perth International Arts Festival. There she will be giving/participating with other authors (doesnt say in her newsletter) in The Words & Ideas Programme, which would have been marvellous to go to. However, this coincides with the weekend I am spending in Melbourne with some friends from our very own SF & F.
I expect she will come over here again, so the trip to Melbourne certainly gets priority
