| The Watcher This will be a thread 4 any info I find out on n e fing 2 do wiv Buffy, Angel and their counterparts... I no there are a lot of threads 4 info so i made this 1 just 4 me... 1st. The Television Critics Association has already nominated Buffy for Best Drama Series and Sarah Michelle Geller for Best actor (?!?! it's wot it says. it must mean actress) in their 2001 awards. These are determined by votes from more than 220 critics and reporters in the USA and Canada. The TCA awards were due to be handed out in a ceremony in Pasadena, Calafornia, on 21st July 2001. 2nd. Anthony Stewart Head (Giles) will appear in Manchild in the UK on bbc . He describes it "It's about four men in thier forties dealing with life, sex and midlife crises," He said "I am one of the four men. It's like a male equivalent of Sex and the City!". 3rd. Amber Benson (Tara) finished her independant film 'Chance' and has flown to Romania to work on a horror movie named 'Taboo'. It is set in a mansion with 3 collage aged couples ending in the usual grisly manner!. 4th. The US VH1 channel will have their 1st ever fully scripted original dramatic series. Named 'Strange Frequency' it will feature James Marsters (Spike). The show will be supernatural, rooted in the mystique and mythological of rock an roll. It will be out in September 5th. Seth Green (Oz) has been cast for the film 'Party Monster'. Based on the New York club promoter named Michael Alig. Seth will play Alig's friend and also the Film's narrator! 6th. Seth will also be playing the voice of the young villainous swan trying 2 steal the heroine away from mute trumpeter swan Louie in the animated feature from Tristar 'The Trumpet of the Swan'. 7th. Phina Oruche (Olivia (Gile's girlfriend in season 4)) is set to play a charactor in 'The Forsaken'. In the film she will -play Cym, a vampyre. 8th. J.Augast Richards (Gunn) will appear ib 'The Seventh Power'. A thriller based on James Mill's best-selling book. The film centres on two brilliant students who build a nuclear device which falls into the hands of a terriorist 9th. No more than 4 Buffy babes got into the top 100 sexiest women in this year's FHM magazine. Eliza Dushku (Faith) came 93rd. Charisma Carpenter (Cordelia) came 27th. Sarah Michelle Gellar (Oh i wonder who she is???...BUFFY!!!) came 11th although she won it last year! Alyson Hannigan (Willow) Beat everyone coming 10th!!! This suprised every1 including herself. 10th. The buffy pc game that was coming out will be delayed...AGAIN! The game will now be out on XBox but should be out on pc afterwards 12th Buffy candy has just appeared on the shelves in USA, adding to the lollipops and chocolate that is already out. The fruit-filled sweets will come in 4 flavours. Strawberry, Grape, Fruit punch and Orange. They will be shaped like Buffy logo's. If you buy a whole box you recieve a free tatoo!!! 13th. James Marsters (Spike) has recieved the award for being the most beautiful person in the world 2001. The title is from PEOPLE.com. Hope you enjoy that and i should be back with more info soon...  |
