Amazon and B & N both say that the mass market Hidden Stars will be available on February 28, so that will be the day I start the contest -- even though Brian has already seriously upstaged me with his book give-away competition.
To make sure that people in any given time-zone aren't at a disadvantage, the contest will run for 48 hours, then I'll draw three names from among those who have PM'd me the correct answer to an as-yet-to-be-determined question. I think that's the fairest way to handle it, and since I've announced the time-frame in advance no one should be at a disadvantage that way either. Additionally, of course, the anticipation has a chance to build to a fever pitch! (You are all of you anticipating, aren't you?)
For those of you who already own unsigned copies of the book, there will be a second contest running simultaneously (my generosity on this occasion apparently knows no bounds -- or perhaps I'm just being over-optimistic about the level of interest), for specially designed and personalized signed bookplates. |
