Lt. Commander Susan Ivonava was born in St. Petersburg Russia. She has strong dislike for the Psi-Corps whose legally mandated drug treatments drove her mother to suicide after it was discover that she was a latent telepath. Her brother was killed in the Earth-Minbari war. She is second in commander under Commander Sinclair. When Captain Sheridan takes over as commander of B5 he promotes her to Commander. She plays a big role in the running of B5 and helping her commanding officers. At the end of the war with Earth she is gravely wounded. Marcus saves her life by using an alien machine but pays with his own life. Sheridan promotes her to captain and she decides to captain a ship instead of stay on B5.

probably my fave char, alongside Marcus! Ivanova brought a lot of character to the show, and she was missed after she left...

agreed! the two of them were my absolute favourites. i like lochley, but no one can ever replace ivanova! :smilej:

i wonder if she'll show up in this new spin-off show about the rangers... hope so :smile:

It would be great to see her in this new series. That is if the actual series happens. Unfortunately it doesn't seem to likely that we will see her.

From what I've heard off the local b-5 boards up here [and they're out of the Vancouver area when 'LotR' is being filmed, we'll see Lockley, but not Susan.

she showed up in Crusade as well didnt she, so shes obviously happy to stay on the B5 rotation
