I've just been reading some of my old stories here, and they aren't that bad! I just don't have time to write these days, but I remember finding writing Drabbles and Double Drabbles the easiest to do. I just like the constaint I think, and the fact that one can be knocked out in a few hours.

So, has anybody got any more?

Also, secondly, does anyone know the real history of the "drabble" as I've read several conflicting things now, which means there are a few urban myths flying around. I mean, if the Victorians wrote them, wouldn't there be more of them about.

Also, I read here:http://homepages.paradise.net.nz/tri...s/drabbles.htm
that they started from a 'Monty Python' sketch. I think I've seen every Monty Python sketch, but I don't remember that one. Is he getting confused with 'Spam'?

And why are all the drabbles written in the Seventies related to Dr Who? It all seems strange!
