Ooooooo I just discovered a new type of fic....Drabbles. These have to be *exactly* 100 words long. You can take up to an extra 15 for a title. And another 15 for a Disclaimer and Summary. Trust me, it’s a lot harder than it sounds. Go on challenge for yourself and hopefully we can get them to take off here. I thought I’d be brave and venture one first. Be nice, this is not only my first Drabble but also my first Andromeda fic!

Title: Poisoning yourself for fun
Disclaimer: not mine!
Summary: After “The Pearls that were his eyes” Beka reflects on Flash.

“I *need* more!!! I didn’t have enough to get addicted. I plan on keeping it like that. A few drops won’t hurt!!

Trust me, it’s an amazing power rush. Senses become magnified. Your mind becomes crystal clear, maybe more so. You can do anything!”

She stared at her conversational partner for a long moment, saw the truth that shined from the eyes staring back at her.

“I guess what I *need* is help” she admitted. “Promise you’ll help me stay clean.” The eyes silently agreed.

“I think we’re actually gonna manage this.” She said before walking away from the mirror.

I try to read em all :rain: I love fan fic. I'm writing one but it doesn't have anything to do with the main characters in Andromeda so I'm not posting it, but I'll see how far I can get with it anyway

Promise not to laugh? lol Ah go ahead and laugh I can't really tell anyway :laugh2: It's about a suicidal Nietzschean.

i'm not laughing, i'm intrigued. I'm sure it's going to be really complex. suicide is a difficult enough subject at the best of times but for a Neitchzean??? Not in the best interest of survival and all that.....should make for fascinating read.

And i think it's fitting to post it here. After all the Neitchzeans are an Andromeda race. But if you still don't want to, i hope you'll agree to email it to me.

It's not really a story...more like exerpts from her own personal journal. She's stating her views on life and the Nietzschean philosophy :rain:
