my fave ep was The Prom. I thought it was kinda moving, Buffy trying to get her one perfect happy high school moment and then getting it eventually. But being determined that at least all her friends should be happy. ANd Wes wondering if he should ask Cordy was funny. and Cordy's dress being brought by Xander, very sweet!! And of course Class Protector.

I have to agree with you on that one Maria. It was a really good episode. I had a tear in my eye.

the prom was cool, i also liked The Wish and Doppelgängland... vamp Willow was very cool

Yeah, he didn't really have much control over the situation...

I wonder if Xander prefers dominant woman? Because Faith, well she was obviously dominant and Anya, she might not be dominant but she was very forward just standing there naked in front of him. So in her own way she was dominant. Cordelia, even tho they never slept together was dominant as well

You know, now that you mention it, he doesn't seem to attract dominant woman as much as abusive ones. He's certainly not the aggressor and seems to accept a relationship with any woman that will have him. And each woman has not been shy about humiliating him in public. Maybe since his parent's home life is obviously dysfunctional, he has developed a submissive/masochistic streak?

There are way too many examples of times he has been abused in public by his women. As to dominant women:
