Hmmm. I'll believe it when I see it. Call me a pessimist, but I've come accross some pretty vindictive people on the site causing me to delete twice. Short of having a comms monitor, I can't see it happening. You're asking people to change their personalities. Some people are so blinkered they will never be able to comply.

I would love to say I agree, but although Ausgate is a fantasy world the people in it are from the real world, and sometimes no matter how genuine and honest you try to be with some of them, they will always interpret your intentions in their own inimitable way.

We should at least try to help things settle down so that the site is as enjoyable as possible for all, especially the many who have managed to avoid getting tied up in all of the various the intrigues.

If things deteriorate then at least those of use who will be trying to have kept the peace re old situations will not have caused their resurfacing. If they do, then you, I, anyone, could re-evaluate our stances. We should all at least give it a chance. Maybe even put a little effort into helping it work.

We can all enjoy the site in a number of ways. The scramble for higher "ranking," trivia, learning more about SG-1, battles, more advanced/involved battles/wars, whatever. I know that now when I watch SG-1 I always end up seeing the parts of the episodes that are covered on the test and it makes them a bit more enjoyable for some reason. Don't ask me why because I don't know. Maybe it's just a more thorough understanding of the series.

Allan has managed to put together a great site. It would be a shame not to be able to enjoy it to its fullest because some might not be willing to put in a little effort at this time.

Personally i don't see why people should have to go through insults like what your saying Lok! If you still know who is doing it , why don't you talk to Allan about a repremand for the guilty parties! Just an idea

Allan is probably way to busy to want to have to worry about playing babysitter too. When is he going to get to kick back a bit a relax, maybe even have some time to enjoy a little gaming himself? Still, if a serious enough situation arose then he, WolfPac, or Geekman would probably be the right person to talk with.

But it would be nice if we could drop things back a few notches, cool down a few tempers, stop the ridiculing and other insults, and get things back to where everyone can enjoy the site a bit instead of continuing the bickering and fighting. I enjoy a good fight but when I "agreed" to Geekman's statement I meant what I said. I'll do what I can to help lessen tensions. If things can't be calmed down then maybe I'll have to reconsider and decide what to do.

If we can't act responsibly and let tensions of the past fade away in order to restore the "spirit of the site" then maybe we don't deserve to be allowed to spend time on the site.

Also for teh 4th day in a row i go to log onto Ausgate and i get either "Cannont find Page" or "The page cannot be displayed"! it is gettign very annoying! I have tried it with both of my browsers (Internet Explorer and MSN Explorer(the later being more reliable)) and it still does this every day! Can you please check for conflicts at the server end, or is just my computer?
