He looked down at her not knowing what he was going to do. He cared for her, but he didn't see her as a lover like he could see Max. It's not that she wasn't attractive, she was beautiful, it's just that he didn't love her. He reached out his hand and helped her up. He then began speaking: "Look Tinga, I care about you deeply, you are my sister and for that I will always love you. Right now my concern is for Max. She needs help and we are the ones that can give it to her. You and Me, and the others. She needs us now more than ever."

held back tears.her herat was aching,she felt awful,but she didnt want zack to see her vulnerable. Instead she looked at him and flippher hair to the side and luaghed. "hey it is no big deal,max is in a lot of trouble and we should focus are seeing taht she finds logan.she is the most vulnerable x-5,and she cant be around us anymore." zack nodded his head.puzzled by how cool tinga was handling his rejection of her. "yea ,well i have some ideas about where logan is.we have to get him and her together,then send them out of here ..fast."tinga nodded her head acting cool with the whole matter. she walked up behind a gate,and did some detective work of her own. zack watched her walk away.suddenly he started to notice the bounce in her walk,and how her eyes were filled with mystery.zcak wa starting to feel strangearound her................................

things had definatelly changed now that he knows the truth avour how he feels, but that doesn't change the fact that she is his sister. It will take a lot more than the truth to change the way he feels for her, and Max for that matter.

Meanwhile, Max is sitting curled up in a ball dreaming about Logan. Never before had she wanted to tell him so badly of her love, her desire for him. Now, she feared she would never have the chance. Sure, Zack promised he would look for him, but would he really? ...

Zack snuck up behind a wall.He could hear some talking and whispering in the dark. He noticed some big guys,and aguy with his hair slicked back . tHey were mentioning Logan's name! Zack poked tinga to come over and see what was happening. Tinga used her extrasensory hearing,while zack used his extrasensory sight. "logan has somehow turned into a x-5 hybrid. I dont know ho wit happened.doe sthat happen when humans interact with x-5's?" the guy with the slicked hair shoved the big guy against awall. "he has escaped. we tryed putting false memories in the girl,Max,but i think she knows they are fake. "
zack held his breath. logan an x-5 hybrid. and escaping frm the enemy? max,him,and tinga hadn't even been that successful!Tinga no wtapped Zaxck on teh shoulder. "i know where Logan is. ...he probably went there to get some extra background information..." zack raised an eyebrow. "your right!!!eyes only!!he is probably back athis penthouse finding out ho wto destroy them sohe can come back here and save us-your a genious tinga!!:zack hugged tinga tightly. Tinga pretended to hold back. Zack started to feel weird hugging her,liek something had changed. h said he only liked her as a friend,but suddenly max was no longer on his mind,he glimpsedtinga's eyes in the moonlight. He never knew her eyes couldbe that beautiful. tinga pretended to be looking at a rat on the wall. "come on,lets go! we hav to get logan and max and send them away out of here!" ting aand zack made theirway to logan's penthouse......................

Tinga was afraid and scared. She had told Zack how she felt and for the first time in her life, she was feeling vulnerable. She couldn't let herself enjoy the hug with Zack because she knew he didn't think of her like that.

As they ran to Logan's penthouse, Tinga thought about what she should say to Zack, she even contiplated saying she was in heat or something, but she was afraid it would break his heart. Even if he doesn't love her in return, at least he knew he was loved.

tinga pushed her feelings aside.she felt stupid thnking about hersel a atime like this.what was more imortant was that she find logan and bring him and max together. she peered thrpugh logan's penthouse. It was dark inside. she hope dshe wsn't wrong.her instincts told her logan was here. zack picked the lock.sure enough,it was pitch black inside.tinga glanced around the room. before she had time to stake out the place,she ws pulled down to the ground. "don't move", a voice said. zack switched the lights on. it was logan. "what the hell are you doing? and why are you attacking tinga?'logan let go of tinga. 'something has happened to me. i have somehow gained x-5 abilities. i think it wsa the blood that was donated to me from max.it has mixed in with my blood,and cause meto evolve or something."zack looke logan up and down. "this is really weird. well why are you here?why aren't you with us?" logan glance dtoward his computer. "i had to do some resaerch on the enemy,and prepare how to defeat them.otherwise,you guys might not make it out alive." tinga stroke her arm. "your strong now,more stronge then us. ' zack glance ta logan. "i think it is his wole mental capacity,that is what gives him the extra energy.brains and strength. "zack cleared his throat. "well you have to get max out of there,and leave this place.forever. i dont want to see max in danger any more,and you two are in enough danger already.' logan nodded his head,and joined tinga and zack.the attack was on....................................

they found their enemy waiting in the darkness of a warehouse not far from the penthouse. With Logan's new advantgage, they were able to take them all out rather quickly.

As they were returning to where Max was, Logan pulled Zack aside. He loved Max, but he was afraid she would reject him now, knowing what he had become. He didn't know if he could face her any longer. For so long, he looked to her as his soul mate, and now, he didn't want to tell her what had happened to him, he was afraid of rejection. Zack pulled Logan aside and told him it didn't matter what he was, it only mattered who he is. He is the man she loves, and that will never change.

For the first time, Logan looked at Zack with respect, and Zack shared that same respect with him, even if he didn't show it. Zack had more important things to do than chace after someone whose heart he can never win. He had his family to love, and ... Tinga.

They opened the door and walked inside. Max ran to Logan and kissed him with pashion only two people with the most pure of love could ever expierence. Logan knew at that moment, nothing would ever tear them apart again.

Zack went over to Tinga and gave her a hug. He saw how happy Max was and knew, Tinga was his chance to expierence that happiness as well. He no longer mourned for what he could not have, instead, he rejoiced for what his future could bring him. For the first time in his life, he felt hope.
