"Except of course that the fire alarms should go off....right about now," he continued.
"Yikes!" Sam screamed as a sprinkler opened, showereing her with really cold water.
"Zounds!" Janet yelled, as a sprinkler on the wall blasted her right between the eyes.

(got the hard ones out of the way for a bit)

"Attention all personnel, we are now holding a wet T-shirt contest in the labs," Colonel O'Neill cheekily announced over the SGC intercom system.

"Conducting an experiment, Sir." Sam responded casting a puzzled glance around the fire damaged room.

"Didn't turn out quite the way we had hoped tho." Janet put in.

"Exactly what were you hoping for?" Jack asked as he nudged an overturned beaker with his index finger.
"For starters...not this," Janet answered indicating the waterlogged mess and the frothy white foam from the spent fire exstinguisher.

George Hammond looked at the mess in the gate room from the conference room. laughed and shook his head.
He had not expected the experiment to work but he hadn't expect THIS result from his two competent doctors and majors.

"I think you ladies should clean up this mess you made," Jack said, waving a finger around at the disarray.

"Jack," Sam called to him, waited for him to look at her, "You could help."

Keeping a wary eye on the two Doctors, Jack circled the room.

Looking up to see Daniel grinning down at him from the control room, Jack finally answered, "Oh, there's not a chance in hell."

"Maybe there is," Janet smiled slyly at Sam, who took the hint.

Never knowing what hit him, Jack found himself pinned to the floor beneath both doctors, now covered in the extinquisher foam.

Overhead of the sodden Colonel whose humor was temporarly extinguished and triumphant Laughing Major?Doctors, Daniel Jackson turned to the portly general and asked, "What was the purpose of the experiment, General?"

"Purpose?" The General looked puzzled. "For that you will have to ask them." He pointed to the 3 soaked military officers below.

"Quit it," Jack sputtered, any dignity he might have had gone when he tried to rise from the floor only to slip in the foam. "Really--it's not funny."
Sam smothered a laugh. "Of course not, Sir."

Twice more he tried to get to his feet.

Unsuccessful as those tries were, he attempted the feat once more, finally making it to an upright position, though a tad unsteady.

"Very nice, ladies. And just for that. I'm NOT helping you clean up this mess." Jack carefully made his way to the corridor, leaving the women to their mess.

"Wow. That was kinda rude. He could have helped," Sam commented.

"Xerophobic he is not. Considering he left to dry himself off," Janet remarked.

(Xerophobia is a fear of dryness - and yeah - i did the "X" -- someone else can tackle "Y" and "Z")

"Zilch," Janet intercepted. "That was the last one."

"We've been attempting to produce an explosive."

Janet continued: "When a mixture of chemicals is add to a flame it should...."
