Deadhouse Gates, bitterly humerous and darkly entertaining. Just the way I like it.

Definitely glad I didn't skip it, I thought Anomander Rake had possibly the coolest pathos I'd ever seen, but Icarium beats him hands down. And The Fall was one of the most moving scenes I've ever read. Really didn't want it to end... waiting 3 days for a paycheck to buy HoC was just plain painful.
