Those talents don't necessarily extend to web-design however, Rahl, and I suspect she leaves a lot of decisions to the person who designed and maintains her web-pages.
I know that when my friend Carolyn built my website, she had a hard time finding -- I'm so ignorant of these things myself I don't even know the right word -- one of the basic whatsits that it takes to set up a message board -- or rather, finding one that did everything we wanted it to do but didn't involve pop-ups or any other kind of ads. Apparently, that's sort of a package deal with most of the "ready-made" message boards. Finally, she did settle on something and set it up, but it's not a great format as these things go.
Kate's web-designer apparently settled for a different trade-off, and decided that ezboard had more of the features she wanted. |
