Hi everyone

I'm new here, but love getting to grips with everyones thoughts on sg1... i am one of those peeps who has to suffer being the only scifi fan in her group (boo) and it is nice to know that not everyone out there automatically rolls their eyes when anything remotely scifi is mentioned

I am a recent convert to sg1... although I am sooo keen I just bought the dvd boxset from the US! I can't decide what exactly it is i like about it - people think I am lying when I tell them I never heard of macgyver until recently, but honest guv it's true...

Anyway, I plan on pitchin in with my two cents here regularly, so just thought I'd introduce meself

Hi, Tabitha!

This is definately a good place to introduce youself and start getting to know the members and the sections here. You can ask any questions and make comments here about what you need or don't understand and we will try and help as we are a friendly group.

Posting.... Anywhere allowed (except the Forbidden Zone) as long as you keep it freindly and nonflamable, 'g' rated because of the younger people here as well as the old folk, and post spoiler space outside of the forum for that season as we have many people here who are on season 2... and 3. Showtime owners are waiting for Season 5 to start at the end of the month.

As you have discovered by now, navigation is done by clicking on the Underlined words at the top of the page. ASciFi.com is the major directory area and on its menu we can get to specific areas on the board. ASciFi.com is a handy one to know about because we talk about software and aliens and other interesting things.

You are in Stargate NewBie Section but we have many other areas. for instance the popular Farscape, Star Trek, Xena, Chit Chat, Films Books, Anime, Fan Fiction for various shows and other sections.

FAQ at the top of the page also answers many questions but again feel free to ask us as we can and do respond. Also in reading some of the shorter newbie threads hints are picked up.
If you need to ask questions or have a problem on the boards please ask a moderator ~ we are the ones with the blue aliens~ by e mail or pm (private message) and we will respond. You will acquire Aliens the little creatures under our names and soon yours also, by posting. And if you like you can name them.
