Posting fan fiction My connection timed out when I tried to post this before, and it's saying there are no new posts, so hopefully it won't be posted twice. If I want to post new fan fiction, do I use a direct HTML link, send it in a file (HTML or text), or cut and paste the whole thing in parts? I was referred to this site by someone who found my fiction on fanfiction.net (I think.)

hey Emily, I'm glad you found your way. Yes I am a devotee of fanfiction.net! Posting can be done by copy and paste, it seems to be the preferred option. But if you want you can add it as a txt attachment. Have fun Maria :star:

Hi, Emily H. I hope Maria has answered your question. Neo asked me this too. You can do either of those that you suggested. If you go to the Stargate Fan Fiction Forum where there are many more posts, you can see people have done cut & paste, attatched txt. files, and posted links to Helio or their own sites.

Emily, your fan fiction is great. I just don't have enough time to read it all. But do keep it coming! I moved your question on 'Pic's or Avatars to ASciFi Forum because I can't remember number of posts needed for one, and someone else will answer it there. Your attached files need to be 40kB maximum, thats why it said one of your stories was too long.

If you can't say something nice don't say nothing at all. Thought I'd ask before doing something hasty, some of my stories can get quite long, and noting the maximum size for attachements, I thought I'd better ask before trying to hit the board with 100K messages? ray

Hi Ray, I just want to agree with all those comments. I've merged all these 'Posting' questions together, if that's OK. As Maria said, any fanfiction here is very welcome. If you think that about two weeks ago there was none, and now there is all this, it is unbelievable.

Sorry, but I will pick up your questions more easily they are put in one place, and that was a better title. I am now getting about 30-40 notifications a day and I cannot keep up reading them. I find it amazing! You'd better PM me if anything needs an urgent answer.
