| I read the books at least once a year. Am really interested to see what they do to the movie but I agree that it would be nicer if they were closer together. I guess they just want to catch that holiday crowd each year. |

In 'Dreamwatch' issue 83 -- 'Lord of the Rings' is scheduled for release in the US and UK on 19th Decenber 2001. They are currently reshooting the introduction to the film, dropping a prologue idea with backstories of Isildur and Smeagol, and instead going for Bilbo beginning to write his memoirs at Bag End. | |
