It's Jaime's beard, Mouse! I've always had a soft spot for a man with a beard. Though I think I'd need to see Jaime hosed down and cleaned up before I can truly judge.
I really enjoyed this episode, it was one of the better ones. The scene between Jaime and Catelyn where he talks about oaths and honour is one of my favourite parts of the whole series. They did it quite differently in the TV show, but they caught the spirit of it, and I did enjoy him taunting Catelyn over Jon Snow (cos I'm evil that way!)
Arya and Tywin continue to shine together. Tywin comes across as one of the smartest characters in the series.
I'm not sure if I'm completely liking Cersei's portrayal. I don't want to spoil anything, but the TV show has greatly humanised Cersei, compared to the book version. I think I prefer her as an evil, scheming bitch!
I liked the drama of Dany's scene in Qarth with the Council of Thirteen. It made good TV, even if it diverted from the book.
More Jaime please! I suspect half the audience may have forgotten who he is.
