| internal thoughts again, again, again. At the moment I approach these two different ways:
He’s right, she thought, he’s absolutely right, if I leave it to the Senate, they’ll want to vote. They’ll still be voting right around the time the palace collapses around their ears.
is the most common way I do it, with I thought, decided etc as a tag to say it's an internal thought, and then I use italics for ones that go really really close eg;
Kalyn, thought Kare. I was right, this is something to do with Dad.
Is this totally confusing? If I use italics everytime half the book would be highlighted, if I don't use italics sometimes how to define a really critical thought? |
