Thank you very much Dave for the defence of what I said but I don't think RJM was all that wrong. The rain forest abuse is a valid point. Business will respond to customer demand at all times. If as customers we refused to deal with companies that were raping our natural resources then very quickly things would change. More than likely it would cost us all a little more which is the problem, hence the Tesco's of the world. Yes business can be blamed for a lot of the worlds problems, but business needs customers and we are the customers.

Vague I accept. But if we all complained more then things would change. Most people don't care and business is a reflection of that. I like the Wall St protests, will they make a difference, I'm not sure. Should they make a difference, yes very much so.

Business is only a reflection of human values, even taking greed into account. Yes a house of cards, but its a very big deck!
